Alex's Pov He relaxed back against the pillows and shut his eyes. I felt a pang of sadness as I noticed the look of serenity was gone. He was back to being guarded and on edge again. Alex's Pov I woke up a little late. The sun was already up and streaming in through the windows, casting a soft glow in my face. Alex's Pov I was seven minutes late for Mrs Porter's class. Thankfully, she didn't give a damn about students showing up late. She didn't even so much as look at me as I walked in through the back. Mrs Porter was a heavy set woman in her fifties who said little, cared little and ended most of her sentences with a sigh. Her classes were ironically interesting though. At least to me.
