Shaun's P.O.V.I wake up and turn over, expecting to see Sherri, but the bed is empty. There isn't any noise coming from the bathroom or anywhere else in the apartment. I pull on my boxers and walk around looking for her, but she's gone. Looking out the window, I see her car is gone as well. She must have had to go somewhere and didn't want to wake me. Shaun's P.O.V.With all the evidence that Lester had on his phone and in his home, we had everything we needed to go after Congressman Mathis Belmont. Once I explained to the chief why I was really there, he was more than happy to let the FBI handle everything. He said it was way over his head.I called my team and they arrived within a few hours. Two Years LaterSherri's P.O.V.To say the past two years have been a whirlwind would be an understatement. When we moved to Virginia, I had planned to continue my nursing career, so I began looking for a job. However, that changed after I met Shaun's supervisor. He thought Shaun and I would make a good team, so he asked if we would be willing to go undercover as a married couple.I thought it sounded intriguing, so I agreed.
