NERIAH'S POV I expected more. I thought she was going to gasp in shock, throw her palms over her mouth, or squeal loudly like she always did, instead she covered my palm with hers and said nothing. My head turns away from her as tears cloud my sight, dropping to my cheeks in rapid succession.
