Nikolai's POV "What happens if she doesn't wake up?" I ask my mom as she hands me a coffee. One good thing about having a gamma and a beta is that when I'm not at the pack house, they are and they are decent at what they do. "With what?" I point to the bed. It's been 39 hours since she came out of surgery. They told us to expect the first 24 hours to be crucial. That it isn't 100% that she would survive and she did. Chapter 32: A memory you know.

Sierra's POV (12-year-old Sierra's POV)Is there a thing in life where you can erase all the bad? Replace it with the good and be done with it? A horrible, painful memory? Chapter 33: Dash cam horror.

Nikolai's POV"What's on the dashcam?" I ask Eric as I begin to walk out of his room. I want to sit in here and ask a million questions. I want to hear from his mouth exactly who is behind it, and I want to do it while he looks me in the eye and tells me what it is that I want to know. Chapter 34: headache from hell

Sierra's POV I feel like I've been asleep for decades. My muscles ache and I keep trying to move something. My eyelids mainly. Jesus Christ, have they somehow managed to glue together my eyes? Chapter 35: A personal target

Sierra's POVMy eyes gradually open. Everything is so bright and so painful. I wish my sight were restricted again. Chapter 36: Where would she even hide?

Nikolai's POVI've been working for weeks to find Natasha. I've looked in the obvious places, such as the office, where she should no longer be working. Ironically, her father, too, has vanished from here. "Nikolai?" Rem says and points to where Jack and Scott are entering. "Brother", Scott says, looking down at his phone. Chapter 37: Broken Pieces

Chapter 38: I wish…

Sierra’s POV 11 o’clock at night. I’ve been laid here for three days. Three days of watching the sun shine and the sky change and I’m bored. I’m so bored and lonely it’s unreal. A knock in my door brings me out of my head, it can’t be Mila, she’s currently in New York. Why? I don’t know. She just upped and left in the night and I haven’t seen many people since. Chapter 39: Mate

Nikolai’s POV I’ve been smelling her scent strongly over the last few days, which is why I never stepped foot inside her room. I never wanted to make her feel as though she was broken, but I did, didn't I? I made her feel as if she wasn't worth it here, and I won't ever forgive myself for it.
