CHAPTER 112Zion When I got back from the training Aria told me about what happened at the cave. Poor Patricia must be traumatized. I could imagine what her reaction was when all those rocks began to shake. Having Aria is about walking through the dark and believing there will be light at the end. I could tell the ladies were both exhausted so went to get the twins from the orphanage. As much as they wanted to have a sleepover. I just couldn't risk it because they were more of a sacred map to Duskrend. They kept asking why Aria didn't come get them personally and I just came up with different excuses because Tia just seemed to have doubts.“Alpha, can we be Luna's guards when we grow up?" they asked.“What? No you'll have to get a mate and settle down," I said.“A mate?" they responded.“Yes. Don't you guys want to have big families one day?" I looked at them."We do but first we need to protect Luna from that evil woman,” they said. They were referring to Camilla as an evil woma

CHAPTER 114Aria “Isn't that going to make me suffocate?" I asked them.“Well it won't, we'll place some openings," they said before Patricia just started laughing.“OK, I'll learn some other time. For now, you two can have fun," I said, and they went to swim.Patricia and I just looked at each other before laughing. These twins are just naughty. I was now going to suffocate in some plastic bag. “I wonder how you would have seen the teachings," Patricia said.“So much for the day already," I said before spotting Catherine coming from a distance.“I don't think I'm supposed to wait for her to get here, let me know if you'll need anything," Patricia said, making her way to the pool. I knew she was running because of what happened at the cave. I stood up as Catherine neared and was about to bow for a blessing when she stopped me.“Stay blessed my child," she said, her hand on my shoulder while the other was on her walking stick.“Would you like anything?" I asked before the conversat

CHAPTER 116Claus I was deep in my sleep when the sound of forbidden altar bells began to disturb my ears. It was weird since the pack house was far from the altar. I assumed I was dreaming when the feeling on my bed suddenly felt different.I tried to feel the bed with my hands but it landed on thorns that stuck in my hands. I opened my eyes and dust was all I could see as I jumped up in shock. How on earth is this even possible?I know I slept in the pack house the previous night so how did I get here? I tried to pinch myself, hoping it would be a dream, but no, I indeed was at the altar. Aria opened the door for Exryx to torment my life.I began walking backwards with slow steps as fear got into me. Not even being an Alpha would save me from this.“You have ruined everything for us, Claus," I heard Ginger say, but there were no words in my mouth.“How did we get here?’’ I asked him, but he also had no idea what had happened. My head was terribly spinning as I could see how the p

CHAPTER 118Claus “Baby, can you hear me?" Mom asked as I opened my eyes feeling so tired.“Yes," I responded in a low tone."My poor child.”I can't believe I shifted into the most deadly form of wolves. That was the last, and I could have died if Camila hadn't come on time.My vision cleared and I managed to sit up straight. My hair fell on my face but Camila fixed them. I asked if Catherine had arrived when Mom said she didn't and I felt like hell was going to break loose.“I need water," I said and Camila poured me some. Everything that happened the previous night was playing in my head, and closing my eyes even made the images clearer.“I need to go," I said, getting out of bed when Mom held my hand.“You're not going anywhere," she said.“I said I need to go!" I responded.“You're not looking for a presentable Claus and this could worry yo

CHAPTER 120Aria The moment Zion ended that call White was just restless. It was as if something bad was about to happen. I tried to stay positive and pretend to be OK but it just wasn't working out. Luckily, Bruno came to get Zion's suit, and I decided to follow him to the firm.I tried asking why Zion needed the suit but Bruno also seemed to have no idea. We got to the firm, and I went to get myself a cool drink at the cafe, where I found Zion's lunchbox thrown into the dustbin. I was shocked since it was something I got him as a gift. I then made my way to his office. There I sensed the smell of blood but couldn't tell exactly where it was coming from.I loved his office, so I took a seat on his chair before the bathroom door opened, and Zion walked out with a bright smile.I smiled back and was about to hug him when I caught the smell of blood coming from him.I asked what had happened, but he wasn't going to tell me the truth, so I went into the restroom just to find his shirt
