Franklin's POV I drove back to the Palace in silence, but my mind was a loud place. I was driving way too fast for even an unhinged wolf. It was like I was finding ways to end my life for no reason. Franklin's POV I sat in my bed, unable to get Scarlett's kiss with Thane out of my head. I tried to get delusional about it being a mistake, but my mind tortured me with the assurance that it wasn't. Franklin's POV I could feel the heat in my body rising momentarily as her body clasped against mine. I held her neck as we kissed to avoid getting too close to her.
