Tabitha:We spent the rest of the day in Collins' room. I ate the soup, and a few minutes later, a maid came and took the bowl away. Collin handed me a stack of novels, and we sat down there quietly, reading, until lunch was brought to us.As much as I was scared of him, being in a place with natural light and some semblance to the outside world was a lot better than being cooped up in my stuffy room. Now and then, I would look up from my book to steal glimpses of him reading. He barely moved, his eyes moving clearly across each line, smiling at some parts, frowning at some, but whatever the case, he was thoroughly enjoying himself.
