Liberty povLast night I gained pleasure from breaking free of Mavericks command and making noise. Now in the morning I feel somewhat ashamed knowing that I’ll have to face his fellow rogues. I heard their comments, cheers and whistles last night when either of us got loud. It was arousing, it egged us both on. We barely slept and I know my hair is a mess. There’s no shower here. The rogues use water from a small stream that comes through the forest to wash themselves. “So you want me to get you some water?” Maverick offers. “No I’l have to leave our bunk at some point to face the music. No sense in postponing,” I reply as I crawl off the strawsack to get dressed. When we sit down at the long table for breakfast we get many grins, winks and looks. That went as I expected, Father looked elated and hopeful Mother looked irritated. The eyeroll she gave my father when he immediately started planning on how to find Maverick and Liberty was epic.
