~Zane~ “I thought you'd forgotten your way to my office? Must have wiped away from your memory just like it did for Lexa right?” I uttered from my seat, staring straight at my gamma who finally found his way here. Surprisingly, all by himself. He forced out a small smile, bowing a little then stood upright to face me. “I just wanted to know when I can continue training Lexa and Christine.” He went straight to the point, his eyes darkened like he was angry but he wouldn’t in any way act on it. Except he wanted to send a personal message to the moon goddess himself. I grinned at him. Playing with the pen in my hand, hitting it lightly on the table. “Why? They just started today, why the rush?” The best I could do was to either smile or laugh. I knew why but I’d rather go around the box with him. “Because she doesn’t really like people and it might only make learning harder for her.” He answered, looking at me like he knew her best. That made me angry immediately but as alph

~Lexa~ I clung tighter, hot tears running down my face. “Stay away from me, don’t come any closer!” I screamed at the top of my voice. I was shaking, shivering, thick drops of sweat falling from my body. “Calm down Alexa, I only just want to hold our baby, you need some rest.” His eyes looked at me and our cub with fake care. He sounded like he trembled, his voice not as confident as it always was. “No. I can’t trust anyone, I’m not letting go.” I sobbed, dragging in a deep breath. I stood there, drowned in fear, I could hear my heart beat ten times faster. I was confused and lost. I wasn’t too sure if that was my heart or my baby’s own. And just like always, that same strange wolf walked into our midst and hugged me. I wanted to scream, shout for help or anything but as usual I was too overwhelmed to do anything. I could never tell who it was, the person would hug me facing me and immediately they pull away, the cloth i held my baby in would be totally empty. My eyes i

~Lexa~ “I thought you knew better when you never showed up for these things, but pfft.. what was I thinking?” Her voice sounded bitter, her hands on her waist as she eyed me angrily. I had to take a quick look around and just as expected no one was looking this way. They were all into their dancing, the loud music and dancing making every other thing look insignificant. I rolled my eyes at her, she couldn’t pick another day to do this? She just had to pick the one day I wanted to sincerely forget. “Why? You didn’t tell me on time that you had to know who and who came.” I replied so uninterested. She scowled at me, her little squad at her back as they eyed me and Christine. “Well..you should know better since I’ll become the next Luna.” She uttered with so much confidence that I so wanted to laugh. Her twin friends Bella and Becca that followed her like little minions, nodded, muttering tiny words into her ear that made her smile so confidently even more. I wasn’t going to

~Lexa~ “Christine! How could you just jump in front of him, I clearly told you who he was.” I scolded her immediately we got out of their sight. My eyes filled with worry as I made her turn to face me, Xavier giving us a little space. She made faces like this wasn’t necessary, her eyes looking at others dancing like she was about to tell me let's join them. “Come on Lexa, he didn’t look that scary.” She pouted like she was about to beg me. “Oh really? Are you sure you know who Alpha Raemon is?” I asked, hating what I was even doing. I didn’t want to be part of people, singing fears into others for him but this was serious. I wasn’t going to take chances with Christine. I don’t want anything happening to her. “Of course, I knew about him since my parents died.” She said it so simply like it wasn’t anything. I looked at her worried, she’s never that bold, well maybe in secret but never out there where everyone was watching. “Can we go back to enjoying the party?” She asked

~Zane~ “Are you enjoying yourself?” I couldn’t avoid her anymore and act like I didn’t want my eyes on her every second. Busying myself for days so I could remind myself what I had to do. She turned to face me like she was surprised but her once smiling face turned very quickly into a frown. I had Josh see Raemon and his beta out, caring less if I had just let my guard down and let him see my intentions towards Lexa. “Yes, and I think it’s because you weren’t anywhere close.” She finally let the smile creep up her face very boldly. I felt happy and glad from my inside seeing her smile even though she clearly just told me she was better when I wasn’t here. I let my eyes slowly skim through her, watching her hands hold two other people as they were all dancing together before I came. My eyes settled on the one holding Xavier. “Let go!” I mindlinked him, while smiling on the outside. Doing my very best to stay calm even when I yelled that out to him. He let go, looking like
