~Raemon~

“You must be Xavier?”

His eyes turned to face me, picking up on my aura. Damn he should know who I was and right now I didn’t want to know who he was.

That damned name that kept ringing in my head was standing right in front of me.

I should pluck out his eyes for looking at my Alexa like that.

“Alpha Raemon.” He called out.

Smart gamma.

I smirked, looking past him to look at Alexa wearing just casual jeans and a top but was clearly the most beautiful.

How could she dance so freely with her waist knowing she was outside?

And the thoughts that no one would walk up to her because of this gamma standing right beside her made my stomach churn with annoyance.

“You look beautiful.” I said it, connecting her eyes with mine. Giving her the most sincere smile ever as I tried not to look at her waist for too long.

She rolled her eyes. “Thank you.”

I could feel my wolf stir up from within.

Maybe she doesn’t know it but even when she wasn’t trying she always looked beautiful

~Zane~ “Are you enjoying yourself?” I couldn’t avoid her anymore and act like I didn’t want my eyes on her every second. Busying myself for days so I could remind myself what I had to do. She turned to face me like she was surprised but her once smiling face turned very quickly into a frown. I had Josh see Raemon and his beta out, caring less if I had just let my guard down and let him see my intentions towards Lexa. “Yes, and I think it’s because you weren’t anywhere close.” She finally let the smile creep up her face very boldly. I felt happy and glad from my inside seeing her smile even though she clearly just told me she was better when I wasn’t here. I let my eyes slowly skim through her, watching her hands hold two other people as they were all dancing together before I came. My eyes settled on the one holding Xavier. “Let go!” I mindlinked him, while smiling on the outside. Doing my very best to stay calm even when I yelled that out to him. He let go, looking like

~Raemon~ He didn’t have a choice and had them quickly fix up chairs for us to sit. We sat where we could get a perfect view of everyone, not too far from the crowd and not close either. They were all so engrossed in their so-called fun that they didn’t take note of their surroundings. I wanted to believe their alpha already alerted them to continue dancing because if not .. they needed more training. “We usually hold this regularly, just to ease them of their busy schedules.” He explained, either because he wanted to or because he saw me looking and didn’t want me looking for my Alexa. I turned to face him, a smirk on my lips. “That’s nice.” I nodded, caring less about whatever they did here. “How’s it like back there?” He asked, distracting me again. I forced out a smile, my wolf picking on our mate’s scent. It felt good, it was the first time in a very long time but Anthrix wasn’t responding. Not like I expected her to… she probably didn’t remember me too? “Good.” I lo

~Lexa~ “Christine! How could you just jump in front of him, I clearly told you who he was.” I scolded her immediately we got out of their sight. My eyes filled with worry as I made her turn to face me, Xavier giving us a little space. She made faces like this wasn’t necessary, her eyes looking at others dancing like she was about to tell me let's join them. “Come on Lexa, he didn’t look that scary.” She pouted like she was about to beg me. “Oh really? Are you sure you know who Alpha Raemon is?” I asked, hating what I was even doing. I didn’t want to be part of people, singing fears into others for him but this was serious. I wasn’t going to take chances with Christine. I don’t want anything happening to her. “Of course, I knew about him since my parents died.” She said it so simply like it wasn’t anything. I looked at her worried, she’s never that bold, well maybe in secret but never out there where everyone was watching. “Can we go back to enjoying the party?” She asked

~Lexa~ “I thought you knew better when you never showed up for these things, but pfft.. what was I thinking?” Her voice sounded bitter, her hands on her waist as she eyed me angrily. I had to take a quick look around and just as expected no one was looking this way. They were all into their dancing, the loud music and dancing making every other thing look insignificant. I rolled my eyes at her, she couldn’t pick another day to do this? She just had to pick the one day I wanted to sincerely forget. “Why? You didn’t tell me on time that you had to know who and who came.” I replied so uninterested. She scowled at me, her little squad at her back as they eyed me and Christine. “Well..you should know better since I’ll become the next Luna.” She uttered with so much confidence that I so wanted to laugh. Her twin friends Bella and Becca that followed her like little minions, nodded, muttering tiny words into her ear that made her smile so confidently even more. I wasn’t going to

  • IN BETWEEN TWO RIVAL ALPHA’S   Chapter forty four

~Lexa~ The day went by pretty fast, everyone was busy like they all looked forward to this day. You could feel the excitement in the air as the workers got busy preparing a lot of things. “Hey Lexa! What are you doing outside?” She spoke up pretty loud as it was pretty crowded. Her face, voice vibrant that I doubt she’ll ever remember waking up halfway this morning. It was a free training day, so we had the day to ourselves. “Just came out to see the preparations.” Having really no strength to shout, i spoke directly into her ear as she stood beside me. She smiled, backing up a little to put both her hands on my shoulders. “You are not planning on not coming again, are you?” She scrunched up her nose, asking like she could see through me. “Why? What gave me off?” “Your face Lexa, you have your worried eyes on. You are looking like something this large was a crime.” She pointed out so clearly. I wanted to laugh so bad because I really did have second thoughts about it.
