~Elara~I sauntered in the hallway smiling ear to ear as I recall the events of my day.My training with Vincent was becoming more interesting now that he knows I'm a bit experienced in fighting.After he saw me fight with Dravon, he had a different expression from what I expected. I have a feeling he even saw me and Dravon almost making out. Today, he was smiling when I arrived, like he had gotten to know a very big secret. I braced myself for Vincent’s irritation or anger, but instead, he shot me a smile I didn’t expect. ~Elara~“Nope,” I said out loud to myself as I rummaged through my clothing rack.I was looking for the appropriate outfit to wear to spend the night at Dravon's room.Since the assassination attempt, the palace has been a shadow of it's usual busy self.Servants rarely lingered at the hallways, the courtyard was used as an investigation area to question people in the inner court of what they knew about the assassination.Today was somewhat better, the investigation team had left the palace and most servants were back fully.The palace was a bit livelier than the past three days.My training was cut short due to the incident and now I spend my days with Mia.The corridors of the palace now carried an unfamiliar stillness, different from the usual flow of activities here in the palace.Even though there weren’t many laughter or discussions like back at Winterwood, at least there were tiny sounds of movements, hurried conversations and faded murmurs every time I get close.
