I feel groggy. I open my eyes slowly to the blinding lights. Rackel is lying on the floor, her hands bound behind her. She is gagged. She notices me and her eyes glisten with tears.I hurry to her side. I untie her, and remove the gag from her mouth. “Run, he is watching you,” she says in panic.“No one is watching. Come on get up,” I try to persuade her. I wake up in my bed. I feel like I just had a scary dream that I can't remember what it was about no matter how hard I try.It is morning and I am already late for work.I take a quick shower, put on the first appropriate outfit I come across and rush out. There is hardly any traffic.I drive past the hospital on my way to work.I can't help but think of Avan and the conversation we had had.I still can't believe the audacity of that guy. Kerrick's P.O.VI had a lot of reasons for moving to Greencity, despite not liking small towns. I had elaborate plans, and all I had to do was follow through. But I did not plan for her.She was a surprise, a good one but still a surprise. She is straightforward, brave and even a little crazy. Watching her is exhilarating. But the one time I take my eye off her, she ends up discovering my dirty little secret. Good thing I have the cameras connected to my phone. I close my eyes and dive into te pool. It is almost dark and I am the only one in the pool. I enjoy the coolness of the water. Focusing on the feel of the water, is relaxing. I am trying to talk myself into going through with it. It is just a meal. I can feel his eyes on me, but I don’t have the courage to look at him.
