I sneaked into house that night, trying to avoid Poppy’s drama. And of course, she wasn’t around. Typical her, who never stays at home if she wasn’t at a club, she’d be crashing at some friends place. Still, I couldn’t sleep comfortably. My mind kept flashing back to what happened at Clark’s place the tossing around, the sucking, the biting…. *Damn! Lea what are you thinking of?* My brain tried to erase those scenes but anytime I close my eyes, it was the images again, that keeps popping up like Temu ads. I had to force myself to forget Daffy that night. Before slipping into a restless slumber. The next morning, I was getting ready for college. Daffy had called earlier informing me of his physical therapy session today, and I’d promised to stop by after school.
