~MINUTES LATER~

I rushed into the reception in a hurry, nearly tripping over a wheelchair before I got to the doctor’s office. “Doctor” I panted. “What you said on the phone….. Did you say Daffy’s bills have been paid?”

He smiled slyly and handed me a paper to sign, “The sponsor doesn’t want their identity revealed, they just ask me to tell you it’s your well wisher”

My brows furrowed, “Well wisher?” I signed the papers regardless, “What do they look like?”

“Go to VIP room 9. Your brother has been moved there and the fellow was still around up until a minute ago. You might still catch them”

VIP? My jaw nearly unhinged. “Doctor…. you could have told me before you moved him”
