CYPRUSI was sitting inside my study, so lost in thought as I was reminiscing on what Sergius had said to me. These words kept playing repeatedly in my head as I did not know how to take them out of my mind. I just sat there thinking about what he had said. "What if what he said was true?" I pondered. "What if he ends up succeeding in taking Fiona up? Away from me? What if Fiona ends up leaving me for Sergius? No, that cannot happen. Anything like that can't happen. I would not allow that to happen.""I have to talk to Fiona," I thought. "I have to know what she wants. I can't lose Fiona right now, no. I can't lose Fiona, not to Sergius." I thought to myself, "Could his threats really be real? Would he actually take Fiona away from me? No, he can't really do that. He can't actually do that to me. No, I won't allow him to do that, and I will not allow Fiona to go with him. I know that Fiona loves me, and no matter what, she won't go with Sergius." Then I remembered also what one of

CYPRUSThen I was following closely behind her, trying to see where she was going next. I think she had actually noticed that someone was following her. As she stopped in her tracks, she looked back, and I had already hidden behind a pillar, not wanting her to see me. "I did not want her to think that I was actually the type to be eavesdropping on conversations. I did not want her to see me as a bad person." So I decided to hide behind the pillar, not wanting to reveal myself to her, at least not yet. Then she started walking again, this time walking at a very fast pace. I know that she's actually suspicious about the fact that someone was following behind her, but I decided to be careful now, more than ever. Then all of a sudden, she just turned back without me realizing it. "There was no escape route for me, and there was nowhere for me to hide anymore." As I just stood there, I was caught already. Then Fiona looked surprised. "Cyprus, what are you doing? Why are you following m

SERGIUSI was immediately awoken by the sound of my door being pushed open. "What the hell do you think you are doing?" I shouted at my beta as he rushed into my room without even knocking. "Don't you... Have you forgotten your manners? Or don't you even have the courtesy to knock before entering your Alpha's room? What the hell is wrong with you? Why did you just barge in like that? There is something called knocking, and that is what you are supposed to do. It's normal courtesy. Are you that dumb?" I shouted at him, feeling frustrated. They had actually barged into my room, disturbing my sleep in the process. But then he just walked right up to me."I'm sorry, Alpha, but now is not the time for you to start correcting me about normal courtesy because you do not know what is actually going on while you are here sleeping. There is really big trouble, and there is really bad news right now.""I don't want to hear any news right now! And I don't want to hear if any news is the greatest

SERGIUS"The greatest thing now is that the greatest information and something that would actually affect all of us is that the Council members are planning.""They actually had a meeting behind your back, and they are planning not to make you the overall Lycan anymore. The Supreme Lycan.""They are planning not to make you the Supreme Lycan because of your anger issues. They actually had a meeting and they concluded that you get angry easily and you do things out of impulse. You do not think before you do things.""And it's. They believe that it will not be good for the Kingdom. They believe that you are not able, and you are not capable of becoming the Supreme Lycan.""They're actually thinking of giving that position to Cyprus because he's much calmer and much better at handling situations, unlike you. That is in their words, Alpha, not mine.""If any of my words sound hurtful or disrespectful, please forgive me. I'm only saying what I'd heard from the Council members.""They no lo

SEEGIUS"Once you hear something that does not go well with you, you first of all get angry and destroy everything. Before you later calm down and start thinking that you shouldn't have done that in the first place.""But then things would have already been destroyed by then. You do not think about those things. You are not like your brother, Cyprus.""Cyprus is very calm. He always thinks about things before he does them. He has a clear reason. He reasons well. He's very reasonable. He is someone who acts like a true leader.""But you, no, you do not come. Your nerves, you're always boiling. You always do things with anger. And that is one thing that is not good for a leader.""It is not actually a good quality in a good leader. That is why we are thinking that you are not fit or capable of being a Supreme Lycan.""That is the fate. That's the main reason why you were not the Supreme Lycan in the first place. If not, both the South and the North were supposed to be your territory.""

CYPRUSOf course, Fiona had given me the best news and I had the perfect way of celebrating it with her. Taking her out sightseeing, making her know she was loved and definitely loved by the right man. We were just two weeks away from her coronation and even though I was so pissed and I tried my best to make the Elders change the date, at least this time around they did not reject my offer and instead accepted. We do what we have to do since Sergius was already going crazy and from the looks of it, it seems they were already having secret message meetings to change some things. Though I don't give a damn about what they wanted to change or why they wanted to, as long as they accepted Fiona, that was all that mattered to me. At this point, we got back home only for me to see my beta pacing back and forth impatiently. He looked at me and immediately rushed to us with urgent news.“I am so glad you came home on time before Sergius turns this place upside down,” he said as I looked at F

CYPRUSI could see a lot of machines being passed around by my brother. “What the hell is going on?” I kept shouting, but nobody would answer me. I was really frustrated as I ran my hands through my hair in frustration. “Could somebody just stop and tell me what the hell is going on? How is he doing? Is he dying?” I asked once again, but nobody said anything. They just kept on going back and forth. All of them were focused on Sergius, trying to revive him as they were immediately giving him CPR. I was really getting annoyed at this point as nobody was really listening to me. I kept on asking about his health condition, but nobody would say anything to me. I felt as if I was about to go crazy. Then all of a sudden, I heard the door open as Yvonne came rushing in with tears in her eyes. “What the hell is happening? How is he, doctor?” She looked at the doctor as he just nodded his head. I think she knew about his illness in time. Then I went to her. “What is going on? What is h

CYPRUS“You have to bring down your pride, Sergius. Because this pride is what is going to end up killing you. If you do not bring down your pride within these next two moons, then you are going to die, Sergius. And I will gladly sit and watch you while you die.” I said to him as he just lay there looking at me, emotionless. He did not even try to plead or say anything that would make me change my decision. I didn’t actually mean what I said; I only meant to scare him. But he didn’t even seem scared at all. “If he acts like the asshole that he is, then I’ve made up my mind that this is what's going to stand, and this is exactly what I am going to do. If he does not bring down his pride for his own life, then I will not do anything to help him.” I thought to myself as Yvonne came to me. “What the hell do you think you are doing, Cyprus? This is not the time to make a bargain. He's dying. You can't just watch your brother die. I mean, he is your brother. He is your own flesh and blo

CYPRUS Ever since that moment, there is nothing in this world that Sergius would do that I would ever believe. I couldn't understand why they always saw me as the brother who needed no attention, whom nobody had to care about. They only cared about Sergius. Yes, I know I was the junior brother, and of course, he is the king because he deserves everything. But watching him smirk at me, and he's better still supporting him, clearly knowing what happened, very much aware that they came to step on my own toes. Saying things that I don't care about, talking about shitty things that make no sense. Everything just sent me into a shock. "I'm not going anywhere," I stated immediately. "I am not going to see that. And he should do whatever the fuck he wants to do. I don't want to. After you all chased me away because of a stupid incident, and now you're back. You guys want me back? No, I won't go back no matter what you do. Let Sergius be Dad's favorite. Only one. It won't change a thing in

SERGIUSI opened my eyes to see my beta by my side, Yvonne fast asleep, and a few nurses and doctors going back and forth. “It happened again, didn't it?” I muttered as my beta immediately stood up, Yvonne yawning as she opened her eyes to see me. “Oh, you're awake. Thank the Lord. Everyone was worried about you. Do you even know how happy and at peace I am to know that you are awake?” she started her rubbish. “Come on, your room is all right already. You don't have to make everything so extreme. It doesn't have to be this way.” And with those words, I tried to adjust myself on the bed to sit properly as my better helped me. “You don't have to strain yourself too much. You've done more than enough. I don't know what to say anymore. But Cyprus... I don't know how we are going to do it, but I don't think we can outsmart Cyprus. I don't know everything I've done to convince him. He doesn't. Even watching you die, even watching you break down, he still doesn't want to agree. And he's
