Lahat ng Kabanata ng Craving My Mate’s Brother : Kabanata 11 - Kabanata 20

SERGIUS I was back again in the throne room, meeting with the elders. I didn't know what to do. Again, I don't think I can be able to keep this a secret, and at the same time, I don't want them to dictate what I should do with my life because I will not listen to anything they tell me. I sat down there, tapping my feet on the ground, anxiously waiting for them to see whatever they had to do before one of the elders stood up. He looked at me and then bowed his head, not even going down, clearly trying to show me that he had no respect for me. Because clearly, they were trying to rebel against me since I didn't have an heir, and I couldn't even find my true mate, which meant, I mean, I was just like a useless Alpha to them. "We have talked about this, trying to find a solution, trying to find a way to help you, Alpha Sergius. But we don't know what to do. You don't have a true mate, you don't have an heir, you have four wives, and none of them has been able to give birth. They've tri

CYPRUS Laying down on my bed, I couldn't help but fantasize about everything. Suddenly, I felt like this world finally made sense to me. Waking up every day now had meaning compared to before. All thanks to this God-sent named Fiona. She came into my life, and everything changed for the good. Now I feel happy each time I wake up in the morning. That excitement in me is always there. I always want to be around her despite everything. I never felt this way, but now I feel like it every time I lie there whistling to myself in excitement. I can't wait to finally propose to her and make her my wife. At this point, I have done everything and anything to show her the sincere person I am, making her come to like me, come to be free with me, and of course, giving her that opportunity to govern amongst the women and the maids in the pack. I hope that is enough for me to prove myself to her. I had gotten my ring ready, and I wouldn't just claim her, but I would let her know how it feels to

FIONA This was the first time anyone had actually honestly told me they cared for me and were ready to risk their life because of me. Sergius would never dare to even give me one chance. I couldn't help but smile back at Cyprus's words and how he stood up for me in the presence of Sergius. I'm sure Sergius would not be able to take me away without Cyprus's approval. I slowly made my way back into the palace with Cyprus by my side and his beta beside him, whispering some words into his ear. He stopped in his tracks as I also stopped, making sure to listen to every glimpse of whatever discussion they were having with each other. “What do you mean? But he might not go. I hear Cyprus. Say to his beta.” And suddenly, I felt frightened. What if Cyprus was unable to push Sergius away and my life still hung by a thin thread? Yet again, I decided to shake off that feeling. I shouldn't doubt anything. This wasn't the time for me to have even a little ounce of doubt towards Cyprus. I just

FIONA I found one of my heaviest coats and put it on, making sure to tie the rope. I stood in front of the mirror, making sure my pregnancy was not showing. Though I was having a huge belly at this point, I still wanted to keep it hidden. If I could keep it hidden during the daytime, I could definitely do it at nighttime. I opened the door to see the beta still waiting there. “We will all escort you here,” he said, as if he was already reading through my mind. “I am not scared of Alpha Sergius. I am scared of Alpha Cyprus finding out about this,” I said before stepping out as they followed behind me. Beta Anthony soon stepped forward and escorted me through the route that led to the backyard garden where I was going to meet Alpha Sergius. The closer we got to the garden, the slower they became. I looked at them as they motioned for me to go forward. I swallowed my saliva in fright, knowing I was about to meet one of the men I hated the most in my life, someone I never had an

FIONA I couldn't help but suddenly feel speechless, not able to utter one word, and I truthfully wanted to tell him anything because at this point I did not want to hide anything from him. But what if. What if he pushes me away and hates me even more for keeping such a secret? "I... I don't think you have to know about this. I was stupid for saying I wanted to talk to you about it. Let's just... let's just forget I brought up the topic," I said to him as he held onto my hands and moved closer to me. "No, you would not hide away your worries, your problems, whatever it is. Tell it to me," he said to me. I sighed heavily, looking away. I didn't even know how to bring this to him because clearly, he had asked me if I went out, and I... I denied even talking to Sergius. Now I have to tell him that I actually came in contact with Alpha Sergius. It makes no sense. "Alpha Cyprus," I started, not knowing what else to say. "Do you know why your brother needs me back in his life?" I as
