Lahat ng Kabanata ng Omega's Curse: Desired by the beast who shouldn't want me : Kabanata 111 - Kabanata 120

Ragal I turned the car key and sped off, leaving dust in my wake. I was angry, and I didn't stop racing through the road until I reached my destination. The witches' home where Eleanor lived. I had purposely kept it far off from where the packs stayed. I didn't want anyone messing with witches. It was already enough that we had plagues — now coupled with the indestructible power of the witches, I wasn't sure anyone would stand a chance. I parked my car in front. Two guards stood at the entrance. I had employed them to keep the witches safe. "Is Eleanor in?" I asked. Both of them looked at each other. "No." "Yes." They answered at the same time. "Is it a yes or a no?" I faced them squarely. "We don't know, my king." They said in unison. I stared at the ground where I had come from. I saw the marks of big paws on the ground — which couldn't have been the guards because I had made sure they wouldn't be able to shift. "Did anyone come looking for her?" I asked calmly, drawing t

Hermosa POV After the strange conversation I had with Lucy, my hairs were on end. There was something she wasn’t telling me, and whether I wanted to admit it or not, it bothered me. I went back to my room, staring at the wardrobe filled with different clothes. I rummaged through them, picking what I thought would be suitable for a dinner—which, by the way, was still suspicious. Long gowns with exposed backs, short gowns with barely any length filled the wardrobe. The clothes hanging there all spoke one word—lustful. Tempting. I couldn’t imagine myself going half-naked anywhere. That life had died with the pole. I checked the sizes, and they were all tailored exactly to my body. Ragal had me cornered. It was troubling, especially with the marks on Lucy’s body and her strange relationship with the head maid. There was something she wasn’t telling me, and it kept gnawing at me. I dropped onto the bed, the soft cover sinking under my weight, exhausted from searching

It was then I noticed the two chairs seated by the large table, and with his cunning smile, I knew this was far from over. "Who are we expecting?" "You will see." He glanced at his wristwatch. "They are on their way." He popped the wine on the table, filling my cup and his. "Cheers." He smiled, sipping the contents from the glass, savouring the taste while I stared blankly wondering what was going on with him. "Drink your wine." He offered, savouring his with careless abandon, those blue eyes of his twinkling with satisfaction. I couldn't quite understand his fascination with this place as he sampled the wine on the table. "This is good." He took another sip, obviously relaxed and unbothered about his environment. Me on the other hand was restless. The strip club turned restaurant looked normal — the waitresses serving food and light bulbs strung all over the place screamed both luxury and suspicion. I shifted uncomfortably on my seat, my eyes landing on the exact bar

Hermosa pov I sat at the table, all eyes on me. “Are you okay?” Ragal asked softly. This was the first time today he didn’t have that hardened look on his face. “Yeah… I need to freshen up.” I feigned a smile, thinking about the knife hidden in my dress. Tonight, I was going to have my way—damn the consequences. Rapheal’s jaw tightened at the show of affection. “Let’s eat.” He stabbed into the steak, cutting it roughly as if passing off some sort of warning. They had all forgotten poor Eleanor, who slung her arm over a nonchalant Rapheal, while he kept his gaze locked on me throughout dinner. I wonder what was going through his head did he know I had the knife or am I getting paranoid? I couldn’t cut the steak. It was too hard, and my grip on the knife was sloppy, my palm slick with sweat. I was nervous. My mind wasn’t on the food. I wanted this knife somewhere else—lodged in his throat to make him feel the exact pain Cammy. I shot him a cold glare, watching him chew a

Ragal POV I watched her with a sharp pain burning through my gut as she sat on his lap. It took everything in me not to strangle the Alpha of the Bloodmoon Pack. He even leaned in to kiss her. I gripped the chair tightly, afraid I might lose control — and a king without control is a mad one. Her eyes were fixed on him like he was everything, while she had told me to my face that I had been played. Those words cut through me like scissors piercing what was left of my beating heart. I furrowed my brow in confusion. A few minutes ago she hadn't wanted to be here, but now her fingers curled lovingly against his lips. I sat still — unable to move — shifting from wanting to protect her to needing protection from them both. Then it happened so swiftly I didn't even have time to react. She drove a blade straight into his chest. Blood spilled everywhere, and there was victory clearly written in her eyes. Her hands slammed onto the table and her knees hit the floor. She had just do
