Fighting The Cruel Fate のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 1 - チャプター 10

Estelle.I slowly take off my helmet and tuck away the few strands of hair that have escaped my ponytail. F*ck! My mum didn't mention that this would be a royal school."That was cool," a voice beside me exclaims, shifting my attention from assessing my new environment. I scrunch my face and look around me with less interest. I'm feeling bored already. I like my former school more."Thanks?" I whisper, even though I don't know what the girl meant when she said cool. A bunch of rich kids are wandering around in pairs, and for some reason, I feel uneasy. The way they are staring and whispering to themselves causes me to wonder if, by any chance, I am in the wrong place.I don't know. These people seem... weird?I still don't understand why my mum insisted on moving to this city and forced me to attend this particular school. I thought it was weird, but then again, I should have known from the countless rules she gave me."You are new. Goddess! Your eyes remind me of the beta twins. Are

Ellie"I am right beside you, don't be nervous" my mum whispers and gently squeezes my hand. I can't help but feel dread for what is about to come. The room is so quiet. Everyone is seated and waiting for the so called king to arrive. I can't help but steal glances at Zane and wonder what is running through his mind right now.We are surrounded by complete strangers. Huge, masculine men and petite, beautiful ladies on their arms. The man, I assume, is my father, hasn't stopped staring at me and my mum like some creep, despite the woman desperately clutching at his arm as if he's going to fly away. That must be his wife.Zane is quiet and hasn't looked at me even once and beside him is a girl I assume is his fiancée.Ouch.I don't want to admit it but it makes me feel so uncomfortable. There is also an old lady who has a smug look on her face as if she just achieved something important.Generally, these people look miserable and fake as hell.If you could have told me the other day tha

Ellie.I deeply inhale the addictive smoke and tiredly sigh."You smoke?" I quickly turn around and look at Justin. That was close. F*ck.From the looks, he is the opposite of his brother. I watch the countless tattoos adorning his arms with great interest. My mum has tattoos too, but anytime I want one, she refuses instantly."Just when my mind can't handle things," I respond. Actually, I stole one of my mum's cigars. I can't imagine the look on her face when she finds me smoking her weed. But Justin doesn't have to know that.Hey, I am a badass too."I can tell it's your first time, though," he knowingly smirks and sits beside me."What gave it away?" I chuckle and dump it in the ashtray. It's awful anyway.I feel disoriented. I was fine before I joined that school. But since I looked into his eyes, I can't help but keep thinking about him. I miss the way he smells. I miss that guy, and it's driving me crazy. My heart aches more when I remember I can't even go near him because he do

Ellie"Where are we going?" I ask Justin as they lead me to what looks like the residential area of this school. I didn't know some students live here."Zane has a house here,so we normally crush there if we don't want to go home "Derek responds and a huge mansion comes to view.A mansion."He lives here alone? Isn't it supposed to be dorms or something?"Justin chuckles and drapes his arm around my shoulders" Let's just say, he owns the school and he built this house himself when he started hating his home""He owns the school?" I stop walking and look around us in amazement. "How?" Zane is probably 21 if not 20. I refuse to believe he is that rich. Come on, I still beg my mum for money and my savings doesn't add up to a thousand dollars.I am also sure I won't be this reach at 21."His grandfather left everything he had to Zane. Maybe that's why his dad is always bitter" Derek responds and I resume walking. That makes sense.Mhm, is that perhaps why everyone wants him? Because he is

Ellie.I jerk awake when chilly water is dumped on me. Previous memories flood through my foggy mind and my heart sinks. What happened to me in that bathroom?"Fuck" I mutter and hurriedly try to sit up but for some reason, I can't move. Oh! No. My blood runs cold when the realization hits me.It can't be. No."Well, look who just joined us." A deep chuckle sounds, and I instantly lock eyes with that man.My fucking nightmare. The devil who wants to ruin my life. I fearfully look at the chains digging into my flesh and I know they finally got me. There is no way out for me.How did I get here without anyone noticing?. Where are my brothers and the guards mum assigned to me?I am stark naked. My legs and arms are tied apart and the old men in the room are hungrily watching me. I am like a lamb presented to them for a sacrifice. This is the most humiliating encounter I have ever faced in my existence. Their intense stares cause my skin to crawl. I feel uncomfortable and sick in my stoma
