Chapter Seventy-OneCassWilliam pulled me out into the parking garage that Bash had taken me into. It was dark, besides the evenly spaced orange-tinted lights every few yards. He stopped and I almost ran into him. Teetering on my heels, I was out of breath from trying to keep up with him.“Will?”“Hmm?” He asked before turning sharply towards the line of SUVs pulling me behind him. His pace was just as fast as before and I struggled to keep up with him. “Where are we going?” I panted and he stopped again. Hauling me into his arms this time, a part of me was glad that I wasn't going to have to struggle to keep up with him. He hooked an arm behind my knees, the other going behind my back. I was cradled against his chest, the same way that Bash had carried me through here. The same way that Oliver had taken me back to his room.Something about the way that he held me felt different from the way his brothers did. It felt oddly normal. Like we had done this a million times, even though i

Chapter Seventy-ThreeThe door rattled on its hinges, but he didn’t stop and I didn’t want him to. “Cass, oh gods. I’m so-”“Me too. Don’t stop.” I moaned. His teeth scraped against the claiming bite on the side of my neck and I felt the flutters of my orgasm starting. I dragged my nails across the tops of his shoulders and he let out a low growl. His fingers dug into my hips and I knew that I would have more bruises later, but I didn’t care as I crashed over the edge. My pussy milking his cock, sending him falling over the edge with me. His dick twitched hard inside of me and he thrust deeper, burying himself inside of me before going still as he came. We held each other, both of us panting against the other's neck. It felt like the bond I shared with him had grown and I could understand why the others had been so upset that he hadn’t finished what he had started. I ran my tongue over my lips. They felt dry and swollen but the claiming mark no longer ached. His chest started to vib

Chapter Seventy-FiveWilliamLanding outside of the lair, I forced my shift. Flying hadn’t helped my dragon as much as I thought it would. He still wanted to go back to our mate, to show her that she was ours. That we were not going to let her go.It wasn’t that easy for me; she didn’t want me. I couldn’t force her to stay, knowing that she didn’t want me the way that I wanted her. I felt numb. I still didn’t know if I was going to be able to let her go when the time came. I knew that I had to try. Being with her felt so right. Everything had clicked into place and I didn’t know if I’d be able to go back to random hookups. How could I after I’d experienced sex with my mate? She didn’t want me.My eyes burned and I tried not to think about that as I walked into the lair, making my way to my room. When I entered, I pulled on a pair of sweats and a hoodie. I didn’t bother with shoes. The cold didn’t bother me and it would help me stay grounded in my task. I needed to find her sister, g

Chapter Seventy-SevenCass“Cass, I’m sorry. I’m not going to be able to get her out.” William said and it hit me like the weight of the world.Everything that I had done, everything that I’d been through, was all for nothing. I hadn’t been able to protect her. “She’s too young,” I whispered, looking down at my hands. They had claimed me and I had let them, to keep her safe. “Among the humans, she’s of age.” I tilted my head to the side, letting his words bounce around my head. Logically, I understood what he was saying but it was like his words didn’t register. Yes, she was of age but they were dragons. How did that even work?William was still talking, but it was like his words didn’t make sense. Was I in shock? That had to be it. My sister had claimed two dragons. She hadn’t been forced into it like I was. She had willingly claimed them. She knew what they were and she still wanted them. I wanted to laugh, to cry. Nothing made sense anymore.“Cassandra,” William said, his tone

Chapter Seventy-Nine“What are you doing here?” William asked, his voice husky and I knew that he’d spent the morning worshiping our mate as he should. She deserved to be loved, the way that we could love her, and I was glad that they were figuring it out. “Moron, you know there is no secret you could keep from us,” I said, tilting my head to the side to look at him. That was when I noticed the bite mark on his lower lip. Blunt teeth had broken the skin, but it was healing quickly to a shimmering silver-toned scar. My gaze flicked over to Cass and then back to William. “She claimed you?”He brought his fingers up to his lower lip, unable to fight back to the smile. His fingers brushed against the scar and Cass let out a moan low in the back of her throat like she was trying to hold it in. Her head fell against his shoulder and her body shook. “Yeah, it was meant to be,” William whispered, his lips tilting into a goofy grin. His hand moved up her back. Fingers brushing against mine.
