บททั้งหมดของ I CHOOSE HIM, BUT HE'S MY ENEMY: บทที่ 1 - บทที่ 10

~IVY~ There is this saying that first impressions matter a lot. But mine? Spilling coffee on the hottest boy in school before I even knew his name, was not exactly the best impression. And judging by the way everyone stared at me, like I had committed social suicide before lunch, I knew this was more terrible than I thought. I had only been focused on getting through the halls of Blackthorn Academy without drawing anyone’s attention. So, I won’t get into trouble exposing my powers. Even though this academy is for paranormal beings, I knew I wouldn’t fully belong here, because one use of my power, the hunters would come after me again. Blackthorn had this dangerous and cold aura to it, almost like every pillar had eyes watching me. The building on its own was beautiful, ancient yet still standing tall. I wondered if I would ever fit in here, without causing or landing in trouble. But fitting in was never my thing, like how impossible it was for me to be invisible, because soon

~KARL~ The moment I saw Damon put his hand on her, something inside me snapped. The feeling was out of the ordinary. It wasn’t just anger; it was something darker and heavier. I could barely contain it. I could feel my wolf, King, prowling beneath my skin, demanding blood. His blood. Her eyes were cold, like she had decided I wasn’t worth her time, as if she was sure I was the evil one. That was enough to break my heart terribly, enough to make me want to do something crazy, like ripping Damon’s throat out in front of half the Academy. By the time I reached my quarters, my pulse was still pounding, and the fury burned hotter than fire. I ignored the voices that called after me as I walked through the halls, ignored the giggling girls and the ones who tossed their hair about, desperate for my attention. None of it mattered. None of them mattered. There was only one face that haunted me. It was hers. “Alright, spill it.” Jace, the taller of my two best friends, lounged against

~IVY~ Trepidation fills through me as I prepared to defend myself, controlling my laboured breathing. I never thought the first time I'll be using my power this openly will be in class. ‎My fingers tingled, the spark of power crawling under my skin like a warning light. I could almost feel it rising, begging to be used, begging to burst out the way it always did when I was cornered. The twins were only a few steps away now, their pale hair glowing under the ceiling lights. ‎ ‎But then, something happened. ‎ ‎They walked right past me. ‎ ‎Just… walked. Like I didn’t exist. Like I wasn’t the exact person they should be tearing apart limb by limb. They didn’t slow down, didn’t sniff the air, didn’t even twitch. They just glided past my desk and sat directly behind me. ‎ ‎Behind me. I let out a sigh of relief as I brought my hand, which was already rising, to pretend to rearrange my hair. They weren't coming to fight me. They were just normal students. But nothing

‎~IVY~ ‎ ‎When I was still with my parents, there were times I snuck around the kitchen, tip-toeing to steal a cookie or two from the jar. Despite being caught and scolded so many times, I kept going. Why? ‎ ‎Because the thrill of getting away from something sneaky is exhilarating. First was the adrenaline pump, then the successful grabbing of the cookie and finally the mischievous satisfaction of getting away with it. ‎ ‎These were the exact feelings I felt when the hidden compartment was revealed yesterday. If not for Roxie and the constant patrolling of Miss Altman, I would've hastily entered the compartment, immediately searching for the Ebon Testament. ‎ ‎But unfortunately, we had to leave the library before anyone could notice what happened. I'll definitely go back there, I just need to plan everything properly. ‎ ‎With the first hint of where the Ebon Testament might be, my mood was elated, nothing could taint it. ‎ ‎The fresh morning air greet

~IVY~‎I walk towards the dining hall, lazily dragging my feet while other students chirped happily. I would have shared their enthusiasm just the same if I had been getting enough sleep in recent days.‎‎Even though I don't see the twin with white hair anymore, my nightmare continues, preventing me from sleeping at all. It’s causing me to feel grumpy and annoyed over the slightest inconvenience.‎‎The heavens bless Roxie for being so understanding and tolerable of my glum behavior. She has been at the receiving end of my sleeplessness.‎‎The twins seem to have reduced their constant surveillance of my every whereabouts. Actually, I hardly see them.‎‎I’m uncertain whether it’s good or bad, but I appreciate that I no longer feel the sharp discomfort of being observed.‎‎I stop at the door, which stood wide open, of the dining hall, my gaze scanning the area.‎‎The dining hall appears nothing like the dull cafeteria I am familiar with.‎‎The giant glass windows are
