I CHOOSE HIM, BUT HE'S MY ENEMY のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 31 - チャプター 40

~KARL~I'm used to Ivy ignoring me, but I never thought I'll eventually be the one avoiding her.For the past twenty-four hours I've been trying to prevent Ivy and I from speaking to each other, trying to spark up a conversation with people I don't even remember schooling here whenever she's near and squirming out of the conversation when she tries to join it.It's like a cat and mouse game, and I never thought I'd be the mouse, trying to escape Ivy's hold. She's surprisingly more determined to break our bond, giving me an evil grin whenever she figures out where I am.Doesn't she feel what I feel? Is being mates with me so bad that she's ready to call it off minutes after discovering our fate?I, hesitating to break off a bond is something I can't believe I'm doing. Rejecting Ivy should be easy for me, I was initially planning on doing the same. But currently, I've found myself stalling for more time. Time for her to change her mind, time to let her see that this might be a bad idea,

~IVY~I've had a rough, eventful day. First it was Lyra coming to attack me and accuse of threatening Luciana, second is watching that same Lyra being beat up by the white haired twins, third is overhearing the hunters mentioning Damon's name. It's been a crazy day, and I'm currently doing something that'll make it crazier.I'm tailing the hunters.I did it on impulse. I couldn't just let them pass by after hearing them mention Damon's name. What do they know about Damon? Are they also looking for him too? Why do they keep mentioning Damon?I need these answers. Maybe they'll also lead me to their hideout within the school or to their boss, because according to their conversations, they're taking orders from a top official.I want to see who exactly wants me dead, and probably even figure out why. It's a reckless decision. I've been running from them my whole life, now I'm willingly following them, hiding behind trees and bushes. If I'm caught, there's no doubt they're willing to kil

~DAMON~They're actions guilt compels you to do, actions you'll ordinarily never consider.I remember when I stayed in Ivy's village, during the time Ivy and I were incredibly close. Our friends then teased me that we were in love with each other. With the mind of a child who had never felt love, who has always been taught that love was nothing but a fiction for fools to deceive one another. A dark haired man made me believe love was a lie. I transferred that ideology unto Ivy, rejecting her innocent love confession in front of our friends.I didn't want something fake and untrue between us, I wanted something real. So I turned her down, stomping on her flowers. It's not until I properly understood the true meaning of love from the Lyovles that I knew that my actions that day were bad and actually hurtful.Out of guilt, I woke up as early as possible, always bringing different types of flowers to Ivy's window. I wanted to compensate for my actions that day, but didn't know how to sho

~IVY~It's meant to be illegal for a sun to be this scorching when it arose barely two hours ago. It's morning and it feels like noon already. I blame Roxie for this, if only she had joined me to sign the petition against the academy management cutting down trees the climate change wouldn't have gotten this bad.Apart from the scorching sun, Sir Fizz is more active than a bee. He's doing too much for someone that was supposedly sick. We've been training non-stop, it's like he wants to make up for the last time he wasn't present which is ridiculous. The past is the past, he should let it go and stop making us run twelve laps and do twenty pushups without using powers. He's either training us to turn everyone into his mini soldiers, or he wants us to join the para-beings Olympics.Roxie collapses on the floor mid push up, not bothering to continue. “If Sir Fizz wants to subtly murder us with hard labor, it's working. I can't fill anything anymore, it's like my entire body has gone num

~IVY~You miss school for one day, just one day and you come back to find out that some third year students almost transported the entire academy to another realm by unleashing an unknown portal. And this is not the only thing that happened.Apparently, two teachers had a public confrontation. One slapped the other, and the other almost used the Infringement Spell on her.The infringement spell is a spell that is prohibited both in the academy and paranormal world due to it's brutality. Yet she was willing to use it on a fellow teacher, and now she's been sacked. Also, someone found a dead rat in his meal during lunch. All these happened while I decided to skip class just this once. Nothing this interesting happens when I'm in school. This is Karl and Damon's fault. If only they insisted I stay after the training, I would’ve witnessed all these dramas myself. Instead they encouraged me to go to my dorm.Damon even carried me to my room. I'll shift more of the blame to Damon. No need t
