Elina POVI walked into the pack healer’s house and headed toward the wards. Ivory was lying on her back. She opened her eyes.“I…I,” I stuttered.“I am sorry,” she said. I didn’t get why she was apologizing.“Why?” I asked her, but the reason was to ask her why she stopped being friends with me.“That day at school. The day you were locked up…” she said. I realized she was talking about that day. The day I was locked up in a dark room by Hariss.“I shouldn’t have stood there and watched you get bullied. I should have found the Alpha or your brother faster… before you passed out,” she said. Then she tried to sit up and cursed under her breath.“I should be healing by now.
