**Stella's POV** By the time I've returned to my apartment, and showered, I'm physically and emotionally drained. Thankfully Noah is already asleep, and Riley gives me a concerned look as I pass through the living room dressed in nothing but my bathrobe to grab a bottle of water in the kitchen. "You okay?" she asks softly. "I will be," I say, though I'm not sure I believe it. "I'm just going to bed." "Okay. Goodnight, Stella." "Goodnight." I close my bedroom door and lean against it for a moment, letting out a long breath. The day replays in my mind like a horror film I can't turn off: Barbara's impossible tasks, the stolen lunch, the destroyed files, that awful note, the blonde woman tripping me, Shawn catching me in front of everyone, the whispers and stares and assumptions.
