I Became A Lycan Princess After Rejection のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 31 - チャプター 40

Octava’s pov“I just need my son,” I said as I raised my hands in surrender. We were outnumbered by a lot. There was no need to fight with them even though Jakeson could handle himself. But what about the others? Could they fight back? Or would they be casualties?“Well,” the one who had shot at Jakeson swung his bow around. “Too bad I don’t know who that is. But if I do see them, I'll send them to you in hell.”The village chief came forth with his hands raised up before him as he smiled at the armed man.“Friend, please we mean no harm. If you are with the group who has this lady’s child, then give him to us and we will be on our way. We don't want any trouble.”The way the man said it was nice and any cold-hearted person would see how nice the man was trying to be. The armed man looked around him and burst out laughing as he looked at the chief.“Well chief,” he sneered. “I don't care.”Without warning, the rogue jabbed an arrow into the heart of the chief as I watched in horror as

Elma’s povI entered my car and sat down there for a minute or two. I was taking in deep breaths. The thought of Jakeson finding out about the one-eyed bandit sent a chill through me. I was scared. It scared me even more to think of the one-eyed bandit and what he would say to Jakeson if he was caught. Surely he would give me up. He was a rogue after all. It wasn’t like I could find a single trustworthy rogue. Did that even exist? Trustworthy rogues? That looked more like a fairy tale. I would see a dragon first before I actually saw a rogue that I could trust.I then ignited my car and started to drive away. I looked at my phone sitting on the dashboard. I started to think if calling Jakeson would be a good idea. But he would not pick up. Whenever he was on a mission, he tended not to pick up his calls. And why was he helping her anyway? I thought they were through. She was supposed to be stubborn and adamant. Was this their way of getting together again? I wondered if I could joi

Octava’s povI was tired of sitting in one spot doing nothing. It had been minutes since that strange woman had gone in there and still nothing. I looked to jakeson, who was still looking at the cave, as if he was expecting something to happen.“That’s it. I’m going in;” I said to my feet as he stared at me like I had said the strangest thing.“What? Why?”I scoffed. “My son is in there. We have been sitting here like losers for minutes. I have to go save him.”He looked at me, his face trying to figure out what expression to give as it settled on irritation. “Impatience is what is going to get us killed. These people had no problems killing the chief of the village. They will have no problems killing you or your son. They look brutal, and something tells me they don’t think well either. We need to handle this with care.”I sighed, “I’m done waiting. We’ve been staying here for more than twenty minutes and nothing has happened. I’m going inside. I have to find out if Luka is in there

Octava’s povJakeson shook his head. “We are not married.”Elma looked shocked, and she chuckled. “Well, that is very, very hurtful.”She then looked at me. “May I come in?”I shook my head. “No, stay outside. I’m still dealing with your man here.”I then turned to Jakeson. “I need to be alone.”“Please,” he said, “take me up on my offer. We can go out there and we can spar. How about that?”But I shook my head. “I just want to be alone.”Someone joined us at the door as I looked up to see a war general there.“The queen would like to see you, Alpha Jakeson.”Jakeson nodded, then looked at me and Elma before walking out of the room.I then turned to Elma. “You should go with him.”I didn’t want to hear anything from her, so I started getting my room in order. At that moment, I heard the door close shut as I turned around to see her standing there with the closed shut behind her.“We need to talk.”I shook my head. “What makes you think there is anything you'd say that would make any s

Octava’s povI sat at the table, staring at my food as I had barely touched it when my mom piped up.“Octava, eat something.”I was about to reply before Elma, who was sitting a seat after Jakeson, added in.“Yes, Octava, eat something. Need your strength if you’re going to be able to find Luka.”I slowly shot her a dangerous look. I was about to argue when my father dropped in.“You two seem to be at each other's throats,” he chuckled.“Dad, you’re not being serious.”He chuckled. It was a hearty one.“If you two are enemies of some sort, I have to know. For goodness’ sake, we’re eating with her. We’re also eating with Jakeson. I have to actually know what is going on in my kingdom, much less my home, my palace.”“Then you should not have brought her in,” I said, as my mother gasped a bit.“Octava, watch how you talk to your father in front of a guest.”I used my super hearing to find out where Kaelan and Jakeson had gone, as I heard arguments, then looked back at them and smiled.“Y
