All Chapters of Under the Same Verdict: Chapter 11 - Chapter 20

Rafael's POVIt was early in the morning, and I was heading to Aurora's apartment like I'd told her. All night I'd been thinking about her and what I could do to fix this. I'd come to a decision. I would enjoy being with her and her company during the short trip, and after that, I would try to get away completely. Although I promised her I wouldn't do it again, it was the best thing for both of us. I wasn't good for her, and I didn't want to try to give my heart to anyone again. Honestly, I was scared to do it.I arrived at her house at the agreed-upon time, got out of the car, and walked up to her apartment door. I knocked three times, and a couple of seconds later she came out. Unlike other times, she was dressed much more relaxed; she was wearing sweatpants and a crop top. She was wearing sneakers, so I noticed she was short. I'd never seen her without heels before. She looked very pretty, and she had a goofy smile on her face when I saw her.-Hi Rafael, good morning- He greeted me

Rafael's POVI arrived at the office in the morning, more than a little desperate. I was anxious to see Aurora to find out what was going on. She hadn't turned on her phone all night, and this was already looking very strange. I tried to mentally prepare myself and convince myself that everything was fine, so when I got to the office, I started with my daily routine, just waiting for my girlfriend to walk in with her beautiful smile, like every day, asking me if I wanted coffee.I continued with my work, trying to clear my mind, but it was completely impossible. When it got past 11 a.m., considering Aurora's scheduled start time was 8 a.m., I knew something was seriously wrong. Unable to control myself any longer, I left my office and headed straight for Aurora's. When I arrived, I saw that she wasn't there.Sebastian 's office wanting to ask if he knew anything about her, this was starting to make me very anxious and desperate, I needed to see her and talk to her urgently."Do you kn

Aurora's POVI was in complete disbelief at what had just happened. Rafael's apology had touched me deeply. There was a chance it was all a hoax and I'd look like an idiot again, but I decided to take a chance and give him a chance. Maybe people would think I was crazy for deciding to try something with him even though I knew what he was and what he'd done, but I honestly didn't care...After our strange conversation, which wasn't at all what I'd expected, we headed back to my home. Our conversation came as a complete surprise; I was expecting anything but some kind of declaration from Rafael, although it seemed like the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen.Again Rafael asked me to drive back, we talked a little about ourselves, Rafael kept his hand on the top of my bare thigh, I was a little ashamed to admit that this man turned me on like no other person ever has, but I didn't dare say it out loud, I still think it's an issue that I'm a virgin, I guess my inexperience causes him some

Rafael's POVI felt the sunlight against my face, I tried to open my eyes getting used to it, realizing that my beautiful Aurora was peacefully asleep in my arms, a huge smile appeared on my face when I remembered last night and I felt simply fulfilled by it.I could really get used to waking up like this every morning. Now that I knew what it felt like to wake up next to her, it seemed hard not to have her with me. I stared at my girl's peaceful face for several minutes, just thinking about how lucky I was. After a while, I noticed her starting to stretch."Good morning," she whispered when she fully opened her eyes, her voice sleepy.-Good morning, honey- I replied, leaving a kiss on her forehead."Did you sleep well?" She asked with a cute smile, looking me straight in the eyes. I adjusted myself so she was in front of me.-Perfectly, I've never slept better- I affirmed, brushing my nose against his."I thought you didn't enjoy sleeping with someone with you..." She whispered, draw

Rafael's POVMy desire to be with my girl had surfaced once again. I longed to be able to grab her and claim her right here in this office, but a stupid call came through. I wanted to ignore it and get on with it, but I knew I had responsibilities. The meeting with the prosecutor was brief, so as soon as it was over, I went out to lunch with my friend Sebastian ."Aurora told me you were going out to eat. Are you alone?" Stan asked while eating, a hint of concern in his eyes.-God no! She went out with Darcy , I wouldn't be so calm if she were alone, I would go crazy if something happened to her- I admitted taking a sip of my drink.-I know, I'm also worried that something might happen to her, you know I love her very much, she's like my little sister Rafael--I know that too, I appreciate that you take care of her and love her that way- I said honestly, I knew that when I wasn't there, Sebastian took care of my Aurora.-She has changed you completely Rafael, I can see in your eyes an
