Aurora's POVWe returned from Portland a couple of days later, they were magical days that we spent as a family, the five of us, having Sebastian with us made it even more special, I came to appreciate him like a brother and I felt his protective side and his affection towards me, my parents let me know how happy they were that I found good people to share time with, they appreciated Sebastian and madly adored Rafael, they noticed how happy he made me and how only he could bring out that spark of joy in me that I didn't even know I had, that man was my complete happiness. At that time, I was at the company, just a few weeks away from finishing my internship and graduating. That made me a bit nostalgic but very excited. Honestly, I didn't know what my future would hold, but I would love to continue working here, not only to be close to Rafael, but because it's a very prestigious company where I know I can give my all and be able to help people, which is my main goal. For the same reaso

Aurora's POVAfter we left the hotel where the meeting was held, we headed to Rafael's building to grab our things and continue the conversation in his apartment. I'd seen his uneasy face ever since we left that place. I just wanted to know what was going through his mind. I was worried about what it could be, to tell the truth. We arrived at his home quickly, it was a fairly silent journey, I think we both felt mentally dejected, but we still had a conversation pending, if there was one thing Rafael and I knew how to do, it was talk things through, it always helped our situation to express what we felt, so I hoped that while Sebastian arrived, we could talk a little." Seb said he'd come get something to drink before coming here," I said to my boyfriend as we walked hand in hand into the apartment."Seeing Sebastian drunk is always a complete joke," Rafael replied, letting out a small laugh and taking off his jacket to place it on the back of a chair.I shook my head and sat down in

Aurora's POVA couple of months had passed since my graduation, and I was happy that everything was going perfectly in my life. As soon as we arrived from Portland, Rafael offered me an official contract to work with them at New Age . I naturally said yes, and from that moment on, I'd been an official member of the team. I remember that conversation with a big smile.Flashback-Well, now that you're officially qualified... Would you like to work in New Age with us?- She asked with a lovely smile."Are you serious, Rafael?" I asked incredulously, unable to contain my excitement.-Completely, honey- He affirmed taking my waist bringing me closer to him, I decided to play a little.- Mmm , I don't know... It's just that I'm dating someone on your team and I heard that your grumpy boss doesn't like relationships at work... - I whispered boldly against his lips."You should ask that stubborn man what he thinks now..." He responded in the same way, brushing his nose against mine.-What do y

Omniscient narratorAt the scene, after the ambulance took away an unconscious Aurora, Sebastian took a few minutes to regain his composure as he was in tears. He considered Aurora his little sister, and seeing the scene he saw and what had just happened completely shattered his self-control.He resumed his posture when he saw that the police team wanted to take Aurora's car, surely they assumed that this had been just a simple car accident, but Rafael and he knew that it would be something minimally possible considering the brunette's skills behind the wheel, in addition, they both had the right feeling that there was something more behind this, so they immediately went to take charge of the situation.-Excuse me- She called the attention of the officers who were putting her friend's car on the tow truck – Sebastian Stan, I work at the New Age law firm , we are handling the case of the situation that just happened, a specialized private investigation team is on the way, so I suggest

Rafael's POVAlmost two weeks have passed since my girlfriend's accident, and although she has certainly shown some improvement, like no longer needing intubation to breathe, she still hasn't woken up... I was starting to despair, she had my sanity hanging by a thread, I needed her to wake up, to open her beautiful eyes, I needed to have her by my side again, I missed her so much...Kristen and Mason seemed so upset watching their daughter still not wake up, something that worried me was that I knew that at some point they would have to return to Portland should she continue in a coma, and I was so, so scared that they made the decision to take her with them and transfer her to a hospital in their city. I understood that they had every right, since since we were not married, they, as her parents, had the final say, I just hoped with all my heart that it wouldn't get to that point, although if it did, I wouldn't give up, I would fight with everything I have and I would crawl on the flo
