Tiana’s POVI laughed at Caleb's joke as he pulled his car to a stop in front of my house. Caleb was fun and easy to be with, he has succeeded in making me laugh so many times this evening. "I’m telling you, the look on his face was priceless, how was I supposed to know he didn't recognise the flowers he ordered." Tiana’s POVIt had been a week since Caleb and I's first date, he asked me to be his girlfriend during our second date and I said yes to him. He was really excited that everyone could tell at the flower shop the next day. I had an afternoon shift today, so after taking Leo to his child care, I busied myself wrapping up colourful gifts for his birthday that was in a few days. I wanted everything to be perfect so I had to start the preparations early. Seth’s POVThe engines of the private jet hummed softly as we began our descent into Toronto. My assistant, Nikki, was already knee deep in her briefing, her tablet glowing in the dim cabin light."Our schedule is tight, Mr. Berkley." She said, not looking up from her tab. "Once we land, we’re heading straight to Oakville. I already rented a car and booked a hotel for us. The meeting with the owners of the park is set for tomorrow morning. They’re eager to sell the park to us knowing how big the Berkley Empire is."I leaned my head back against the leather headrest, closing my eyes. "That's good, Nikki. Tiana’s POVI wiped my hands on my apron, frowning as I walked out of the store room to meet Asher toward the front of the shop. "Why do you keep yelling my name?" I asked her, placing my hands on my hip. She laughed as she wrote something on a card and placed it on a bouquet of flowers she had already prepared. "Don't worry, I already got it under control." I rolled my eyes at her and looked towards the counter, Caleb was standing there but he was staring outside the glass window and there was a bit of a frown on his face. Seth’s POVI sat by the window side in my hotel suite, the blue light of my laptop reflecting in my glass of scotch. Jamie wasn't bluffing about finding out the owner of the private jet. It belonged to the daughter of a really big business tycoon, Elina McRae. At first the name didn't ring a bell, not until I saw the social media photo Jamie had somehow pulled from a private account. Tiana’s POVMy legs felt heavy with each step I took as I walked toward the back of the old rollercoaster. I could feel Seth’s presence behind me, reminding me how the past I had managed to hide from had eventually found me. When we were far enough from the music and everyone at the party, I stopped and sat on a nearby bench, keeping my arms wrapped around myself as if physically trying to keep my heart from falling out of my chest.I finally looked up at Seth as he stood a few feet away. Tiana’s POVI cleaned up Leo as soon as he woke up and got him ready to meet Seth. I kept trying to tell him that someone was coming to see him but he didn't even pay much attention to me. He just kept playing with his new toys. Caleb stayed for a while longer and I could tell he didn't feel comfortable with the way he looked over to Seth's house whenever he heard the movers' voices. I moved to lie down on the couch and that was when I noticed that Seth's suit jacket was still here. I picked it up as I stood up, deciding to go and give it back to him, but then I stopped when I reached the door, I could just give it back to him tomorrow morning. After everything that happened today I wasn't sure I wanted to interact with anyone, even though I had calmed down. I was about to go back to the couch when I heard the sound of footsteps retreating from my doorstep outside. I paused and listened carefully to make sure I wasn't hallucinating.
