Lahat ng Kabanata ng FATED TO THE ALPHA'S SHADOW: Kabanata 91 - Kabanata 100

Damien’s POV “You have the audacity to show your face here, huh? You have the audacity to come here after what you did?” my brother yells, lunging at me.I know he’s hurt and I want to stand down but the force he’s using to come close scares me so I have to stand my guard in preparation for what I know is about to come.He stops mid way.“Calm down, and let’s talk.”“Don’t you dare ever tell me to calm down, you bastard. Don’t try it.”“Stop it, you two. Stop the madness,” Elena pleads.“Lukas, just untie her and let her go. We can talk about this.”He scoffs. “Are you mad? No, actually, you must be very mad to think you can talk to me like that. What exactly are we going to talk about?”“Lukas, I know you’re hurt but I just need you to calm down and let’s talk about this diplomatically.”“You’re crazy. Crazy for thinking I’ll have any diplomatic talk with you after you had the audacity to mark my mate.”I swallow, feeling the guilt rush through me.“Lukas, I…,”“Yeah, you what?”I

As the door slams shut behind my father, I push myself to a corner in the room. The dark and cold atmosphere was nothing compared to the darkness I feel in my heart each time I remember my father’s threat against Elena. After all, I would be a hypocrite to complain about the situation because I have always sent people to experience that same thing. So I don’t bother wasting my time wallowing in the event of the moment. Instead, my mind goes back to the last time I saw her.At the courtyard, in my arms and the shock she had in her as they closed slowly.Anger surges through me and my fingers ball into a tight fist. I told him to the wall and began to punch it repeatedly, trying to wash away the violent rage I am feeling.I remember the moment Damien is drugged away from us, the way he cried as if he was living something that belongs to him. This pisses me off because she’s mine.He has no right to be crying for her. No right to tell me to look after her because she is mine and it is my

Elena’s POV.Bianca and I quickly make our way to the place believed to be housing Lukas.“My goodness, I didn’t even know a place like this was in the palace? Why did the Alpha King bring him this far?” I whisper.“Perhaps, he doesn’t want anyone to know. I was also surprised when I heard about it.”I swallow, following right behind her, and she comes to a stop.“Why are we stopping?”She turns to me. “Because this is a destination, your highness.”“Oh, so you mean Lukas is there?”She shakes her head. “Yes, your highness.”I take a hand in mind, thanking her profusely.“Now you can go back, I don’t want anyone finding you here.”“And leave you by yourself? No, I can’t do that, your highness.”“But Bianca, this is my problem and you’ve already done enough to help me. I don’t know how this is going to go but if things go south, I don’t want you getting into any trouble with me.”“I don’t care, your highness. I’m not leaving you by yourself. If you care so much about me and you will ma

Elena’s POV“Your highness, we have to leave the palace now,” Bianca says as we run farther away from the prison. Thankfully there is a back road that leads out of the prison. But as we are running away, I only have one thing on my mind.Lukas.The image that I saw has still not left my mind and I wonder what else the king will do to him.I nod at Bianca. “Yes, the Alpha told me the same thing.”She pauses, staring at me with a disbelief in look. “He really said that?”I nod, pulling her hand, so we can continue running. “He said if the Alpha King finds me, he may hurt me.”“Wow, at least he has done something good in his lifetime.”I sigh. “So where do we go from here?”My jaw tightens. There is only one place to go.And that is to him.Damien.“For now, we must go to Damien. He’s the only one that has the capacity to protect us from the alpha King.”“I thought you were angry with him?”I turn to her. “ And hear you went to him when he felt I was in trouble, didn’t you?”She swa

Damien’s POVElena pulls my hand on until we get into my room. She finds a bucket of water and a towel, kneels in front of me and begins wiping gently.I just sit there, staring at her. My mind goes back to the moment I thought I lost her back at the palace, and even just a reminder of it made my chest tighten. If something had happened to her back there, I definitely would have never forgiven myself. She cleans a spot and I flinch slightly, causing her to quickly hold back.“Oh, my bad. I didn’t see it clearly,” she says gently.“It’s fine. You don’t have to apologize. You really don’t have to. I’m just happy that you’re here and doing this,” I reply. She smiles, continuing what she’s doing. That’s when I remember something that happened between us a few days back.I clear my throat, thinking of the best way to start my question.“Uhm, Elena,” I call out.She lifts her head up to me. “Yes.”“Uhm, so remember a few days ago. Something happened between us.”Her lashes flutter knowingly
