Lahat ng Kabanata ng Mated to My Ex's Brother: The Mad Lycan King: Kabanata 1 - Kabanata 10

NOREENA hard jab came next at my side, causing pain to explode throughout my body as the girls pinned me to the floor and continued kicking. "Please," I begged, my voice raw and raspy with pain, "I swear, I didn't try to seduce them."Helen, the third in command and most requested escort, scowled down at me with menace, the scissors in her hands glinting under the light."You knew Beta and his friends always requested for me to service them whenever they came to the motel, and yet you passed at the exact time so they'll notice and call you instead?""I had no idea they would call me. I was cleaning!," I explained, begging her to see reason. "I didn't do anything wrong! I didn't let them touch me. In fact, I threw up on them so they would leave me alone, so please let me go."Helen scoffed, "Of course you did."She squats down to my level, bringing the scissors closer, "Maybe this will finally teach you a lesson. When the men see you and your shabby hair, not even your sinful body or

NOREENFor a moment, the world seemed to disappear, leaving just Elion and I.He was just as I remembered, six foot five, tanned skin and the same hardened gaze that always seemed to appear only when I'm in the room. He's grown his hair longer now, making him look even scarier. His eyes scanned my body, stopping on my fingers, and a deep frown replaced his scowl for a fleeting second before it disappeared."What are you doing?" He gave me a point blank stare, "Stand up and pack your things."I laid frozen, staring at him."Now," he growled, his voice filled with malice. That got me moving, I jumped to my feet."No!" The mistress yelled and threw herself in front of me."No?" Elion echoed, his eyes narrowed into slits."B... but she's for sale, your Majesty." The mistress stammered. Elion rose an eyebrow, "How much is she going for?"The mistress glanced around, her eyes landing on me with disdain, then back at the Lycan King, "Five thousand.""I'll give you one million," Elion said

NOREEN Was it because of her that he rejected our mate bond?Is that why he wants me to carry his pup so he won't have to sacrifice his beloved??I pushed the sadness I felt to the back of my mind and continued eating.I just have to survive this long enough to find a way out and find my sister.I don't care about my mate and his rejection, —not really. Just as I finished eating, the door opened again. It was the same girl from before. She threw a clean set of clothes on the dresser and turned to me with a glare, "Tidy up, I'll be back in ten minutes. The King has demanded your presence."I stiffened, Already??The maid narrowed her eyes at me, "You don't want to keep the king waiting." She added, as if sensing my hesitation. I nodded and went to the bathroom. I'd barely finished when the maid came back."Are you ready?" She questioned, eyeing me.I nodded, "I'm Noreen, by the the way."She paused and just stared at me, the suspicion in her eyes evident. "If we are stuck with

NOREEN I spent the rest of the night swearing and cursing at him that I slept off, feeling tired and spent. When I woke up, I found myself back in my room with Amber judging eyes glaring down at me."You had quite a night," she commented, glaring at me.My cheeks turned crimson red as I stood up, avoiding her gaze, "What do you mean?""You made it quite difficult for some of us to sleep with your loud cries." She replied. Didn't he say—Oh goddess, I wish the ground would open up and swallow me whole.I looked everywhere, but at Amber, "Is there a reason you are here?""The Lady wants to see you. I was asked to bring you over."I raised an eyebrow, "The lady?""The King's betrothed.""Oh...""Be careful with your words too, if you don't want to spend the rest of your life in some shallow grave and not even the King would help you because he wouldn't even be aware.""I understand," I replied, "So who's she really?""She's the first daughter of Alpha Rowan, Head of the Blue Moon Pack

NOREEN Kathleen is going to pay.I'll definitely make her pay and take responsibility for the deaths she pinned on me. That's only if I live enough to survive another day. There's no doubt Elion would want to make me pay for 'killing' his men. I had no witness, so naturally, he wouldn't believe me.I wouldn't believe me too.I sat on the edge of the wooden chair and waited for what's to become my fate. The door opened after what felt like forever when it's only been hours, maybe minutes even.Elion entered, his face sour and dark.I sprang up to my feet, fidgeting, "What are you going to do to me?""Less than twenty-four hours here, and you already killed two guards and tried to run away. What do you think?""I didn't–""No excuses, Mascota," He warned. "But–""Save it!!""What's my punishment? Are you going to kill me? A life for a life?""It's two lives. Your life is not enough for atonement. Also, why would I kill you when there are other ways to punish you?""I'll give you a ch
