Lyra’s POVSeated on a small pavement in the garden, I inhaled the sweet scent of roses and hibiscus to admire but for some reason, they felt a bit off. Lyra's POVFor days, I had tried my hardest to get back to my previous room so I could take back the map to the entire pack in my quest to escape all to no avail. The guards in the hallway wouldn't let me get inside, no matter how hard I tried. According to them, I wasn't allowed to clean the room or even approach it, so I couldn't even use the excuse of being a cleaner to get inside. Thankfully, no one else got inside either.
