My breath comes out shaky. Desperate, raging and raw. I wait to hear him say he is joking. Wait to hear he didn't just agree with a group of dangerous rogue men to have their way with me.Nothing. He says nothing.Instead, he leans close, his breath mixing with mine. "What is it, Red? You can't do it?" A cruel smirk curl his lips."Please," I whisper, voice shaky and low. "You can't possibly mean I should...""Undress. Leave your lingerie on and give them a dance."I shake my head. "Alpha...""I'm not your Alpha. I'm not even an Alpha. Those who call me that have the right, but not you. I'm your Lord, and you..." His hand moves. Knuckles drag against my cleavage. "...are my pet."I'm your wife. I want to say it to his face, but I'm afraid of what he'll do. My throat tightens as his voice drops wickedly."If you take any more than a minute, I'll have them fuck you until you can't walk."My body listen before I can process his words. I rise to my feet and slide the zipper down my waist

Their boots scrape against the tiles. Voices slur as they chatter.“Man, you should see her boobs. Round and large like the head of a cow,” one says.“Did you suck on them?” the second male asks.“Oh yes, I did. She is a screamer too. Clawed at me for a release. Can’t blame her though. It was her heat.”“Shouldn’t you be bothered about your mate who is pregnant?” the third male asks. “Aren’t you afraid she might sense you’re cheating on her?”“Says the male who has over seven women carrying his child.”“I’m not married to them. And I don’t plan to.”“Sucker.”I roll my eyes. Raina was right about men in this place. They treat lives like coins and property. Especially women.I just hope they get out soon. I need to find a way back to the house, which is a twenty‑minute drive away.“Speaking of marriage,” the second male chimes in. “Are we just going to ignore the rumor that Drogo is married?"I freeze.“Nonsense. I do not believe such a thing.”“So do I. No sane woman will marry Drogo.

They all stop at once, their hands freezing mid-action and their breaths hitching as if the air had suddenly turned too cold to breathe.I slowly raise my head to see who’s come, tears sliding down to my ears.My heart pauses. Drogo?A pang of relief washes through me, but I’m too lightheaded to make sense of it. Didn’t he abandon me earlier?“Repeating myself will require a lot of blood wetting the damn floor,” he warn. The three males shift away and shuffle to the corner, covering the parts they’d torn bare. The males glance at each other, jaws clenching, but none dare move. One of them finally breaks the thick, tense silence, his voice low and cautious. “You said we could—”“You lost your chance,” Drogo cuts him off. “Besides, I’m quite curious if you need that tongue of yours. It will make a fine collection in my basement.”They recoil, heads bowed as they realize Drogo had listened to everything they’d said.I shiver when Drogo’s eyes finally flick to me. His lips curl into a cru

My dreadful father had always wondered how I miraculously stayed alive, despite all the hate around me.Even the Omegas were not treated as harshly as I was.I survived by staying low, quiet, and obedient while studying every nook and corner. Every character. And every careless gossip.Being a servant is what I’ve done my whole life. It silently gave me access where others couldn't reach. With it, I tricked the guards, prevented rape and deadly schemes from Miranda and Beth.It was how I stole food for my mother and myself. How I slipped in and out of places without being noticed.I’m going to do same in Drogo’s territory. This time. Not only for survival. But to save the people that Drogo might forcibly have in his territory. After all, the rogue Alpha is not a good man.Yes. I know how dangerous this is. Spying on the rogue Alpha is far riskier than deceiving my father’s guards. He has his eyes on me, and for some unknown reason, he doesn’t want me dead... yet.“Are you fucking ki

I've witnessed very few cruel deaths in distance. Silence and sickened enough to make my stomach twist. But none of them were spine-tingling like watching a man burned alive until his scream fluttered into silence. A scream that would definitely haunt me for the rest of my life. My knees shake despite my efforts to steady them. The scene invasively repeats over and over in my head, grating my skull. I'm in Drogo's private suite, preparing his bath while wondering why I was taken to that place if he was going to bring me here? Did he make me watch that on purpose? What a ruthless male he can be!"What the hell is taking so long?" I jerk at his voice behind me. Forcing my voice to be firm, I reply. "Almost done. My lord."Breathe, Isolde. Don't let him read you. I can feel his gaze boring into my back. They feel like hot metal grazing my skin.As his footsteps echoes, I hasten the work, finishing up just in time he'd almost crossed the distance between us then used the opportunit

DROGOThe bag jerks on its chain with every strike, leather groaning under my fist. Sweat drips from the curve of my jaw, falling soundlessly to the floor. My knuckles throb, my breath seizes with every hit. But I don’t stop.A hiss slips between my teeth as the eleventh bag bursts, swallowing my fist.Weren’t these bags supposed to be strong?Fûck.I draw my hand out with a sharp inhale. The sand follows, scattering and cracking against the floor. Then I grab the bottle of whiskey on the bench and let the liquor burn its way down my throat. The burn irritates me, but I need anything that will keep my wolf at bay. It's hungry. Really fucking hungry, and I will not give it what it wants. I lust over her, and I curse myself for feeling anything from her touch when no other woman could do the same. She was my curse two centuries ago, and the moon goddess sure knows how to play their tricks. And that I will not give in. The door creaks open, Bran steps in, and sighs as he takes in the s

ISOLDE The court servant unit was stricter than I had imagined. There are rules. Many of them. How to bow, how to talk, how to serve. Hell, even how to breathe, like it is a crime. The head court maid was the blonde, Vera. Strict from day one, her gaze and mouth sharp as a blade, enough to grate through your skull. The Alpha’s court servants stay close to the Alpha’s suite, a hall with a row of several rooms to abide in.Mine was small but comfortable. Neat, well arranged. A single bed, several folded uniforms in the dresser, and other necessities. It has been three days since I joined the unit, and honestly, it feels like it is going to take much longer to succeed in my mission.I sit under the stark white light of the infirmary, fingers knotted in my lap. My breath feels hot and heavy, my bones feel like water, and my head feels like it is going to split at any moment.Today was stressful, but it was nothing compared to the torture I faced in my father’s pack.So why do I feel so w

ISOLDE The room tilts at the strange old woman’s words, and the more I think about them, the less they make sense.“D… dying?” My throat tightens. “Who are you, and why would you say that?”“I’m Morgan, a high sorcerer, and yes, you heard me right, child. No medication can fix your predicament unless you get your wolf back.”A single bead of sweat traces a path down the side of my head.“Inner wolves are like half of a werewolf’s soul. They grow attached as you age, as the human form cannot stand alone, especially…” She pauses, tapping her staff against the floor. “When you carry Alpha blood. You will wither away and die. The signs are already manifesting.”My knees buckle, and I stagger, barely catching myself. I study Morgan closely, waiting for her to laugh and admit it was a trick.Nothing. Her expression remains serious. And judging by her aura, she is not a kind to bluff.“What should I do?” I whisper, hearing the panic in my own voice. “I… I didn’t know it would be like this.”

I almost laugh at the absurdity of her words, but I do not have the time to wrangle with her. That is her thing, not mine. How could I miss the home that treats me like an outcast?Casting her words aside, I try to keep my voice calm so she will not suspect anything."I need to speak with your mother, Beth.""Why in such a haste? I have not received a wedding congratulatory from you. Now is your chance, Isolde. Be nice to your dear sister."Oh God, I am losing my patience. Someone might come here. Worse, it could be Drogo, and I will be fucked."I need to speak with your mother now. It is really important. I am not in for your games, Beth.""And I can simply end this call.""Don't! For the love of God. Don't end the call!"She giggles, and I know she has already caught it. The desperation in my tone."What is it, dear sister?" she drawls. "Are you in trouble? Do you want my mother to beg Father to get you out of there? If yes, then you must be deceiving yourself. That beast is your hu

DROGOMy eyes snap open wide, beads of sweat gliding down the frame of my face. I am breathing heavily, like I had just run many miles.Gripping my forehead, I groan at the voices ringing in my ears. The pain. The torturing memories that have not left since centuries ago.No matter how hard I try to convince myself to get used to it, it never works. They never fade, like it all happened just yesterday. That red-haired woman. The one who doomed me remains buried in the depths of my memories. And now she is lying on my king-size bed, her red locks sprawled across the sheets. Her face is marred with dried tears, her lips and skin pale.I stare at her lean frame for a long time, fingers clutched together. No matter how hard I try to see her as innocent, to believe she is another person entirely, the memories prove me wrong. If the Moon Goddess truly wanted to answer my prayers and end the curse, why send me the face of the woman who caused it all?Perhaps all of this is a trick. Morgan wa
