Raven’s pov“Who am I speaking with?” The person scoffed and I knew who it was immediately. Without wasting much time, I ended the call. The phone kept ringing after that, but I didn't pay it any attention. “Lunch is ready, Nana specially made this for you,” Dax called out to me, popping his head into my room. “You can come in, I have missed you,” I said. I slept as soon as we got home and I was just waking up. My body felt at much ease and I could finally have a good night's rest. “I have missed you baby,” he said and kissed me. “I came here while you were sleeping to check on you. It seems you really enjoyed the sleep,” Dax said, smiling at me. He was staring at me so intently and I felt so shy. “Stop staring at me that way, you are making me shy,” I said, trying to cover his face. Dax chuckled. “You are just too beautiful for me to take my eyes off,” he replied. I hissed at him jokingly and brushed him off. “With my hair looking like a bird nest?” I asked jokingly.

Marcus’ povI blinked repeatedly, trying to force myself out of the daze in which I found myself. Was I dreaming?Of course, it had to be a dream. Or a prank or maybe a joke. I really didn't mind whatever it was, I just wanted it to be far from the truth. It wasn't until then that I felt okay. “Raven!” I suddenly shouted her name. “Do you even know what you are doing?” I spat out angrily. “Ethan is my son! I am very sure Sienna would never do that to me,” I told her. Raven chuckled. “That’s not what the test is showing, Marcus,” she responded with a smirk. She raised her hands in the air. “I am not going to interfere though. You can choose to believe whatever you want to, after all, it's a family issue,” she added the last part with a sneer. I prayed for this to be revenge from Raven and not the truth. I didn't even care if she won in the face of everyone, I just needed all of this to be a lie. I turned to Sienna and saw that she was shivering. “Explain this? What the h

Raven’s povI have been in my room for the past forty-eight hours, refusing to listen to anyone. I think this was long-needed, I have been acting strong for way too long. I needed to let out all of my emotions. The betrayal has been too much for me to handle. “Raven, someone is here to speak to you,” Dax said, knocking on the door. “I don't want to speak to anyone,” I whispered with all the strength I had. “Raven, this is pretty important. Can you please come out,” He pestered on. I sighed and got off my bed and managed to walk towards the door. When I opened the door, Dax let out a breath of relief. “I have been so worried about you,” he said and embraced me. He kissed the top of my head repeatedly in a way that assured me that he was always going to be here for me. “I wish I could erase that part of your memory but it can never be,” he whispered. “I think I actually like that I have experienced all of this. It has taught me a good lesson,” I told him. I think after all

Marcus’s pov“Marcus, you can’t be serious!” Sienna said, raising her voice. “After everything I did to help you! I did exactly everything that you have always asked me to do so how will you believe what she had to say so easily!”“You can't believe her, we have planned all of this together. I know things are not looking as good as we planned because of all of this but we will solve the problem. Trust me, I am willing to help you out of this, and then our life would continue happily ever after,” Sienna said, holding my arms. I rolled my eyes.“Sienna, get the hell out of my face,” I said, hissing angrily. I have been gullible enough! If she thinks I was going to fall for one of her tricks again then she had to be joking. “No! Stop this silly DNA nonsense, Ethan is your son!” She squirmed. “Why are you acting this way! We were together when I got pregnant with Ethan. We were literally dating, what then is the problem?”“If you claim so then no problem, I’ll wait for the DNA result

Raven’s povWe were heading back to the courtroom today. I placed my hands under my chin tiredly. “I really hope today is the last verdict. We have been dragging this for way too long,”’I complained, clicking my tongue. Dax used one hand to hold mine and the other to control the steering wheel. “Focus on whatever you are driving,” I said, chuckling softly. “I can't resist you baby,” he whispered, staring at me. I blushed slightly and tried to hide my blush but I couldn't. “You look so breathtaking,” Dax said, pecking the back of my hand. We finally got to the courtroom, and it was so crowded everywhere. “I am guessing today has to be the final verdict, everywhere is crowded,” I said. Once they saw that I was coming in, they all paved the way and started praising me. I smiled at them, waving at them. “We have missed you so much, we want you back at the pack house,” I heard some of them say. I only smiled in response because I really don't have an answer. I already had a l
