playing the perfect wife between two brothers のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 41 - チャプター 50

ELENA POV I was able to successfully avoid staying in a close space with Aldric as I waited for Elara's reply. And I have been successful, really successful with my plan. With my now realized feelings for Aldric, I think it's best to keep our distance as much as possible. Right now we're at the beach. I sat on the beach chair as Aldric went into the water, it was refreshing and relaxing just to be here with people around and Aldric in the water. I sighed out loudly as I took a glass of wine and stared out into the waters, it was beautiful. Immediately someone's head popped out from the beach, slowly his chest, then his body emerged as the sun made the water droplets sparkle like diamonds. I couldn't take my eyes off him as he made his way to me. I could hear ladies whispering next to me about how sexy Aldric looked, that got me upset. Aldric on the other hand completely ignored everyone as he made his way to me. He bent over making sure that our faces were inches apart as he smi

ELENA POV I swallowed, staring at Aldric, guilt suddenly started building up, making my heart pound. Sweats suddenly broke out on me this time not from desire but from guilt. My breath became heavy, I felt as though I was about to have a panic attack. Aldric stared confused as he placed his hands on my cheeks, “Hey, hey, it's okay,it's okay. Breath with me,” he said staring deep into my eyes, breathing in and out, “Just like that.” Aldric said as I mirrored his breathing. After a few breaths I was back to normal, Aldric smiled sitting next to me on the bed he exhaled. Silence fell between us, I fumbled with the sheets embarrassed as I thought of what to say to break the silence. I was so determined to make myself happy but I just had to embarrass myself by having a panic attack, why now of all times? I groaned inwardly. “I'm sorry.” Aldric said instead, shocking me. “What?” I asked, confused. “I shouldn't have done that,” Aldric said as he closed his eyes, he ran his hands t

ELENA POV “The truth is…” Then I remembered, I removed the contact earlier. I screamed, pulling away from Aldric as I ran towards the bathroom. I could hear Aldric calling out to me. I quickly locked the door behind me, resting my back to it. Shit, I hope he didn't look into my eyes. I thought as I quickly went to the sink and there laid my contact container. I heard a knock on the door, “Elara, are you okay? What's going on?” My hands were shaking as I tried to put the contact into my eyes. I missed the first time resulting in pain but I had to try again until I had completely fixed them both. I exhaled, staring at my reflection. I decided to tie a robe this time before leaving the bathroom. “Elara..” Aldric began but I opened the door before he could complete his statement, “Are you okay?” “Yeah, why wouldn't I be?” I said as I walked past him into my room and Adrian still stood there. I stared at him with a raised brow, what was he still doing here? “Adrian you can leave

ELENA POV I sat at the island in the kitchen making a list of things to buy since Edith and her husband were still around, but I couldn't stop smiling. Aldric and I finally took the next step in our relationship and I feel like it made us more close. Aldric has been the sweetest trying to make sure everything is perfect between us. I've tried to avoid Adrian using Edith and her husband's visitation as an excuse. Paul, well he hasn't gotten the chance to do why he did last time and Edith is still in her mission to get Aldric but as Aldric said, they're nothing and will continue to be nothing to each other. I chuckled at the memory of Aldric saying that. “Something has got you all jolly this morning, Elara.” I didn't have to look behind me to know whose voice that belonged to, it has been haunting me since they came here. “Good morning to you too Edith, I hope you slept well?” I replied instead. “Oh well,” Edith said, from right behind me, using her finger to trail on my skin, “

ELENA POV Edith left yesterday leaving Aldric and I in a turmoil, well mostly me. Aldric has apologised a lot and I'm not upset anymore, just embarrassed with how everything turned out. Aldric decided to take us on a dinner date today, he kept throwing words at me so our table wasn't quiet. It's quite obvious that he's nervous. It made me smile. “So the chef wanted to…” “Are we good?” I suddenly asked, making Aldric pause , staring at me. He smiled softly, “Of course dear, we are, we are good.” I smiled back, “I'm sorry if I am overrated with Edith…” “No, it's okay. You were just overwhelmed and I understand.” Aldric said sweetly. “Yeah and thank you for this dinner. Everything's lovely “You should eat up.” Aldric said, passing me his plate of already chopped steak and took mine. I smiled thanking him. I took a bite and the meat melted right in my mouth. It was delicious. I chuckled. “It's really good,” I commented, making Aldric chuckle. “Elena?” I heard my name maki
