Lahat ng Kabanata ng Broken Bonds: The Awakening Of The Cursed Luna: Kabanata 1 - Kabanata 9

Averine"My sweet little child, even if you're half human, a scentless abonimation for your father, I believe that you are born to unite worlds. You're not a curse, you're the blessing for someone who is incomplete without you."My mother's only memory, a letter left for me from her was the only source of hope that urged me to keep going and fighting my inner demons everyday to survive and thrive.I am Averine Cullen, the Alpha's scentless half human daughter who was born out of a mate bond and I was the curse whom the whole pack despised.I had a wolf but she wasn't as strong as an alpha's child should have. Due to my half human genes, I had no scent. It was just after the evening, the sun was descending behind the clusters of trees and everything was incredibly quiet. Stretching my paws, I steadily ran through the woods, the scent of damp earth, the sound of nocturnal creatures and slowly creeping darkness bathed in the silvery light, it gave me the only thing I wished.Comfort in s

AverineDark, cold basement has always been my home.No matter where I’d go, my solitude and pain were my companions in my lonely, tragic life.Alpha Hayden brought me to his pack forcefully. I begged my father to kill me because death was a better punishment than being a s*x slave to the cruel alpha whose wolves had beaten me.I was waiting for my ultimate fate.To serve Alpha Hayden’s lust. They had infused me with wolfsbane to make Kira weak and without her, it was more than a nightmare for me.The doors burst open and I heard footsteps entering.“I don’t know what our alpha had seen in a wolf like her. She is half human and barely has flesh on her body. I am sure she won’t survive the night. Our alpha is a beast in the bed.”I heard those people mocking me but their latter words scared me more.“Hey, get up!” They grabbed my arms and forcefully made me sit.Their nails dug in my skin.“Are you ready to please our alpha tonight, petty human?” The female guard smirked at me.They un

Averine Coiled in the corner of the car, almost pasted to the window, I kept staring out of the window, staring blankly at the passing clusters of trees, hills and also towns. I didn’t know how many hours had passed as the car drove through the spiral mountain roads until I saw foreign land.To say, I had never seen such scenic beauty. It was an area of dense forest yet lush green fields could be seen as far as I could see, river streaming down the hills. It captured my heart but I wasn’t exactly feeling like celebrating. The man sitting on the passenger seat held an aura which both terrified and overwhelmed me at the same time. I didn’t dare to glance at him but I could feel his gaze on me, his powerful wolf tried to connect with us but I knew, he was supressing his wolf.Perhaps, he saw me as a possession he won from Alpha Hayden.“Alpha, we’re here.”I heard the other man, his Beta speaking and I realized that we had stopped in front of a huge house, probably his packhouse. It was

Averine The pack treated me well if I had to put it in words. They didn’t treat me like a prisoner, that’s what I meant but it didn’t mean that I was happy there.Life felt more suffocated to me, locked in a room, listening to the whispers outside. For them, I was a subject of curiosity, a runt whom their alpha wanted to marry. The only thought of marrying my fated mate thrilled me but at the same time, I felt shivers in my body because for him, I was just a prize, his claimed territory that he didn’t want to lose.It broke my heart but Kira consoled me saying slowly he’d feel the mate bond because our Goddess had chosen us as his mate.Suddenly, the door opened and I sat up straight. I expected it to be the maid but I was surprised to find Logan at the doorstep with the same frown.“Make yourself presentable, we’re going to the elders’ meeting. You’ll be questioned by them to test your honesty and your conduct.” He said to me in an ordering tone.My stomach twisted. An interrogation

Averine “Alpha Winston Shadwell of Mystic Shadow Pack, since this female wolf, Averine Cullen bears your mark, it makes her your mate. But to complete the mating ceremony, she must mark you as well and seal this arranged bond with your bloods.” An old man who wore a red silk robe, said in a deep, high- pitched tone.My face was covered with the veil but I could see a pair of golden eyes piercing through my soul and two large palms resting on my waist, they made Kira and me weak. I wanted to lean into his chest.“Averine Cullen, for the last time, I am giving you a chance to refuse this mating bond and return to your pack. Do you still want to become the mate and Luna of Alpha Winston Shadwell?” The old man asked me.I assumed it was customary.“I do.” I said in a barely audible voice and my heart skipped a beat when his palms rubbed my waist.“Averine Cullen, now, mark your arranged mate so the mating bond will be sealed until one of you find your fated mate.” The old man instructed
