Emory--Most days, I blink my eyes open in the morning and it takes me a few minutes– okay, an hour and a half– to really get into my day and remember what I’m supposed to be doing. Today, I wake up with the preternatural stillness of realizing something you’ve been dreading is happening in mere hours.
