REBECCA'S POV I tried to listen, I really did. But it is so hard to focus on something as mundane as class when you have something more serious like the fate of your pack on the line. JARED'S POVI woke up startled, my shirt, wet with sweat. Another nightmare, fifth night in a row. They were all the same thing but in different fonts. Every night when I closed my eyes, I saw Aurora telling me in front of my pack that she wanted nothing to do with me. Some versions of the nightmare went further and showed her picking Finn over me. Other versions had her taken by an unknown person showing me that I had failed as her mate. I stood up from my bed and headed to the shower. I stared at my reflection in the mirror and I didn't recognize the face staring back at me. My eye bags had eye bags from my lack of sleep and my stubble looked more like a beard now. Even though I was only 21, my face had aged a lot more. I sighed then stood under the water, letting it wash away my fatigue. When I was done, I wrapped my towel around my waist and headed out.
