A few days later, the house felt quiet. Alexandro went to work as usual, even though he had promised to reduce his activities. But that promise seemed to only last a short while. There were meetings, clients, projects that couldn't be postponed. I couldn't be angry. I had been angry too often. I sat in the living room, hugging a pillow, staring at the television that wasn't turned on. I felt bored and wanted to do something, but didn't know what to do. I couldn't go out because of the nausea. I couldn't work because of semester break. I could only sit here, waiting for time to pass. My mom, Isabella, sat in a chair near the window. Her hands were busy knitting. Light blue yarn wrapped around her needles, forming small, intricate patterns. I didn't know when she had learned to knit. Her eyes were focused, her hands skillful, and occasionally she smiled to herself. "Mom, who is that for?" I asked. "For my grandchild. I'll make clothes, a hat, shoes, and a blanket. All blue." "Why bl

Alexandro didn't answer my question. He just stood near the window, his back to me, staring outside with unfocused eyes. His hands were in his pockets. His shoulders were tense. I knew he was deep in thought."Ale," I called. He didn't answer."Are you okay?""I'm fine.""But you've been quiet since earlier.""I'm just thinking.""About what?"He turned around. His face was still blank, but his eyes were different."About how I'm going to be a good father.""You will be a good father, Ale.""Are you sure?""I'm sure."He smiled faintly. "I hope you're right."The door opened.I turned. Mona, Alexandro's stepmother, entered in a red silk dress, her hair in a high bun, diamond jewelry on her neck and ears. Behind her, Abraham, Alexandro's father, walked in with firm steps, a neat gray suit, his hair slicked back. His face was friendly, his smile warm, as usual."Lucia, my child," Abraham greeted. "We heard you were hospitalized. How are you?""I'm fine, Dad.""Don't lie. You're pale." A

A few days later, the doctor allowed me to go home. My condition had stabilized, my nausea had started to subside, and the babies in my womb were declared healthy. Alexandro picked me up himself, without Marco, without Gianna. Just him and me. In the car, he held my hand tightly, as if afraid I would vanish if he let go. "Are you relieved?" I asked. "I'm relieved. But also cautious. Fabio said twin pregnancies are riskier. You need to be more careful." "I know." "Don't move around too much. Don't lift heavy things. Don't..." "Ale, I just got out of the hospital. Don't make me want to go back." He smiled faintly. "Okay." Day after day passed. My belly started to grow. Not too fast, but enough to make it hard for me to move. I couldn't imagine how big it would get. Pregnancy alone is torturous, let alone a twin pregnancy? But I didn't have a choice. I had to be strong for these babies. Classes started again. I forced myself to keep going, even though my body often felt tired. Al

Marco blinked. It wasn't often that his boss gave praise, let alone a raise."Thank you, sir."Alexandro didn't answer. He walked to his desk, sat down, and opened his laptop. Marco left. But Alexandro couldn't focus. The laptop screen displayed financial reports, graphs, and numbers. His eyes read line by line, but his mind wandered elsewhere. To Lucia, to her growing belly, to the two babies about to be born, to his wife's warm body, her soft skin, and her moans that made him lose control. His cock hardened.Alexandro sighed. He closed the laptop. He stood up. He paced the room. It didn't help. His cock was still hard.He took off his jacket and threw it onto the sofa. He started doing push-ups. One. Two. Three. Twenty. One hundred. Sweat began to soak his shirt. His muscles tensed, but his libido didn't subside. He stood up. His breathing was still ragged. He closed his eyes. He imagined Lucia, but imagining her only made him harder."Fuck," he muttered. The door opened.Marco ente

"I miss BDSM," I said."Are you serious?" he asked."I'm serious.""But you're pregnant.""I know.""And you get nauseous if I'm close.""I'm not nauseous anymore."Alexandro was silent."Are you sure?" he asked."I'm sure."He called the waiter, paid the bill, then reached for my hand. "Let's go home."At home, we went straight to the bedroom. Alexandro locked the door. I sat on the edge of the bed, my heart pounding hard, not from fear, but from nervousness. It had been months since we last did this. My body might have forgotten, but my mind never did."Ale," I called."What.""I'll start."He blinked. "You?""Me. You sit in the chair. Don't move. Don't speak. Don't do anything."Alexandro obeyed. He sat in the chair near the window, watching me with dark eyes. I stood up, walked to the closet, and took out a black box. The box containing our toys. Black leather handcuffs lined with sheepskin. Small candles. Silk ropes. A gag. All unused since I got pregnant.I opened the box and to
