I can’t see, it feels like I am outside. I can hear the cracking of thunder above me. The glow of lightning sparks up the ominous sky for a second and I see trees surrounding me. It’s been three long and agonizing days since I told Ben to get out and never come back. I have so many questions and I doubt I will ever get answers for. Now that I am not so angry I feel guilty about how harsh I was, maybe I was overreacting, maybe I should have given him the benefit of the doubt and listened to what he had to say. He was so patient with me when I was learning to control my powers, and I should have given him the same grace. I also just really miss him; my stomach sinks every time I think about him. I realized I was probably going to die down here, if not now, when the hunter was done with me. I can’t believe I’m never going to see my family again.
