⋅ ⋅ ♛ MASON POINT OF VIEW ♛ ⋅ ⋅ I slammed my office doors shut, the wood shuddering in its frame as I began pacing back and forth like a caged beast. What the fuck was Heather thinking, speaking to Alexia like that in front of me? Her words had been bad enough, but seeing the hurt flash across my mate's face had pissed me off even more. And Alexia... fuck, Alexia, was driving me out of my fucking mind. She probably thought Heather's words had confirmed what my own actions had been whispering to her all along — that I didn't want her. My jaw tightened until it ached, and I dragged a hand over the back of my neck. After everything I'd done to keep her safe, how the hell had I managed to make her believe the one thing I could never bear to hear? But she had no idea how desperately I was burning for her — how every drop of my blood roared just to have her beneath me. Yet I had to hold back. Every instinct inside me screamed to stop thinking and simply take what was mine. But Alex

⋅ ⋅ ⚘ALEXIA'S POINT OF VIEW⚘ ⋅ ⋅ “What do you want?” I asked, forcing my voice to stay cold while my pulse raced. “Can’t I come to see my own Luna?” he murmured, closing the distance between us in a single stride. The possessive edge in his voice made my stomach tighten. He knew exactly what that word did to me. I stood up to walk away, but before I could take a step, his hand shot out and clamped around my wrist. He dragged me back as he dropped into the spot I had just vacated, sending me tumbling onto the sofa and straight into his lap. The coffee cup slipped from my fingers and shattered against the floor as I collided with his thighs. “What are you doing, Mason?” I gasped, my hands flying up to press against his chest as I looked up into his face. Fuck. Up close, the amber firelight traced the sharp line of Mason’s jaw, but my attention remained fixed on his eyes. They were no longer cold. His gaze dipped to my mouth before returning to mine, and my pulse faltere

⋅ ⋅ ⚘ALEXIA'S POINT OF VIEW⚘ ⋅ ⋅ Mason tilted his head, crashing his lips against mine with a fierce, demanding heat. His kisses were becoming my favorite addiction — a sweet, intoxicating drug I never wanted to recover from. He released my wrists, his hands sliding down to frame my hips before lifting me off my feet like I weighed nothing. I instinctively wrapped my legs around his waist, clinging to his shoulders as he carried me toward the bed. We fell together onto the soft mattress in a tangle of limbs. Mason broke the kiss, his thumb gently tracing my swollen, reddened lips while his gaze held mine, dark and unwavering. "Tell me you want me, Alexia," he rasped. "Tell me you're mine." “I want you more than I need to breathe,” I whispered, holding his gaze. "That is all I needed to hear," he murmured. The certainty in his voice sent a strange little flutter through my chest. His lips dragged across my jaw and moved down the sensitive column of my neck, his hot tongue traci

⋅ ⋅ ⚘ALEXIA'S POINT OF VIEW⚘ ⋅ ⋅ I sat at the vanity, slowly drawing the brush through my dark hair, trying to keep my restless mind occupied. A few hours ago, Zarek had knocked urgently on the door, calling Mason away because a fierce brawl had broken out among some of the Silvermoon pack members in the hall. Since then, I had remained alone in the room. I hadn't even bothered to step outside; my breakfast had been brought up on a tray, and I had eaten by myself. Yet, no matter how hard I tried to focus on my surroundings, I couldn't stop thinking about last night — the overwhelming heat of his touch, the taste of him, and the raw devotion in his eyes. I rested my palm over my lower stomach, a smile touching my lips. “My sweet child...” I whispered to the warmth beneath my hand. “I promise you, I am going to give you the best, most loving family you could ever wish for. Just like the wonderful bond I had with my own parents.” A sudden ache squeezed my heart. I missed them so muc

⋅ ⋅ ⚘ALEXIA'S POINT OF VIEW⚘ ⋅ ⋅ When Kaia told me about his past with Heather — when she revealed what Ava had said — something inside me seemed to crack, but I forced myself to breathe and held on to the reasons I had trusted him Because somewhere deep inside, I still couldn't believe Ava would lie to manipulate me. I thought about the moments between Mason and me — the way he looked at me, the softness that sometimes crept into his voice, and all those little things that had made me believe I was finally getting through to him. And I had let myself believe that the way his arms tightened around me this morning, the way his touch lingered, meant something. That whatever had happened before me, he had chosen me now. I couldn't keep expecting him to do all the heavy lifting in our relationship. If I wanted us to have a chance, I had to step up and fight for us, too. So, I walked down to the kitchen and asked Ava to help me make him a fresh cup of coffee. It wasn't much — just
