THE REJECTED OMEGA'S KING のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 61 - チャプター 70

⋅ ⋅ ⚘ALEXIA'S POINT OF VIEW⚘ ⋅ ⋅ He didn't finish shifting. Before his face could fully resolve, he snapped back into his black wolf form and bolted out the open doorway into the shadowed woods. I collapsed backward onto the plush couch, gripping the edge of the cushion as I struggled to steady my breathing. My fingers were still trembling, and no matter how many times I told myself he was gone, I couldn't shake the feeling that those eyes were still watching me from somewhere. Even without seeing his face, I recognized that terrifyingly familiar gleam in his eyes. Something about his presence, the way the darkness seemed to cling to him, sent a shiver down my spine. I knew who it was. And deep in my bones, I knew he wouldn't stop coming until he had me right where he wanted me. If he returned to finish what he had started, I wouldn't cower in fear. I would be waiting for him. The front door swung open, and Mason walked back into the cabin, wiping sweat from his brow. He paused,

⋅ ⋅ ⚘ALEXIA'S POINT OF VIEW⚘ ⋅ ⋅ In place of the beast stood Knox, bare-chested and completely unfazed by the freezing night air. A slow, arrogant smile curled around his lips, giving him a dangerously handsome, feral look. But I refused to let him intimidate me. It all made sense now — who else possessed the blood capable of hiding his scent from Mason so flawlessly? “What are you doing here, Knox?” I demanded, my tone icy and unyielding. He took a slow, deliberate step toward me, reaching out a hand to stroke a strand of my hair. I instantly swatted his hand away with a sharp slap. “Don’t touch me. I am not going to allow you to disrespect me or my man.” “‘I am not disrespecting you, Alexia,’ he said, his gaze lingering on me in a way that made my skin crawl. ‘Can’t you see that I love you?’” “Love?” I echoed, the word tasting bitter on my tongue. Suddenly, a buried memory flashed in my mind — the dark, suffocating night I was held prisoner in the rogue territory, sensing a

⋅ ⋅ ⚘ALEXIA'S POINT OF VIEW⚘ ⋅ ⋅ “Tell me what, Mason?” He let out a heavy, shuddering breath, his fingers tangling in his messy hair, looking so handsome and agonizingly vulnerable in the dim moonlight. "We're true fated mates, Alexia,” he said softly. A nervous chuckle escaped my lips before I could stop it. “Really, Mason? Is that your excuse? You're withholding yourself from me because we're mates?” “Just listen to me for a second…” he groaned, frustration lacing his deep voice. “You never listen when I'm trying to protect you, do you?” I rolled my eyes playfully, raising my hand to mime, zipping my lips shut and throwing away the invisible key. “Do you remember the night we first mated?” he asked, his eyes searching mine. “Please don't remind me of that terrible engagement,” I muttered, shaking my head.“I'm not trying to remind you of the engagement,” he murmured, reaching down to trace the curve of my jaw. “I'm talking about what happened beneath all of that. That nig

⋅ ⋅ ⚘ALEXIA'S POINT OF VIEW⚘ ⋅ ⋅Kaia came running out into the courtyard the second our carriage came to a halt. She threw her arms around me in a tight, ecstatic embrace, stepping back almost instantly with wide, overly cautious eyes, as if she suddenly remembered that I was made of fragile glass. "Hey, don't treat me like a delicate porcelain doll," I laughed, nudging her playfully. "Welcome back home, Alpha King," Kaia beamed, giving Mason a respectful bow. “Home...” Mason echoed softly, his gaze lingering on the looming towers of the palace before returning to me. Something unreadable flickered across his face, there and gone so quickly I almost wondered if I'd imagined it. He turned back to me, wrapping an arm around my waist to pull me flush against his side before cupping my cheek in his palm. "That's an interesting word. But honestly, wherever you are... that is my true home." A helpless smile broke across my face just before his lips met mine as he leaned down and captu

⋅ ⋅ ⚘ALEXIA'S POINT OF VIEW⚘ ⋅ ⋅ "What the fuck are you doing in my bedroom, Knox?" I demanded, my hands clenching into fists as my voice vibrated with anger. "Just here to welcome you back, my little angel," he said as if he owned the place. I drew in a slow breath, forcing my fingers to uncurl at my sides before lifting my chin. I refused to let him see how hard my pulse was beating. "I am warning you... Get the hell out of my room." Knox slowly uncrossed his long legs and stood. He didn't hurry as he crossed the room. He didn't need to. Every unhurried step made the space between us feel smaller, until I could hear nothing but the faint click of his boots against the floor. "What's the matter, angel? Afraid someone might walk in and see us together?" "Get out!" I spat, planting my feet firmly beneath me, even as the muscles in my stomach tightened. "I won't," Knox murmured, stopping inches away from me. "And you can't force me to leave, either. You know as well as I do that
