SHATTERED AND TEMPTED のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 151 - チャプター 160

I looked at Luca as he approached me. It seemed like he had just finished washing the dishes. I just blinked when he casually took off his t-shirt and threw it on the mini-table, then sat down next to me. I was even more surprised when he just held my arm and pulled me closer to him. He made me sit between his thighs and trapped me in his strong arms."Crescent... hug," he muttered and hugged me tighter, then buried his face on the curve of my neck.I just held his arm around me and caressed it. I just arched the side of my neck and let him smell it. He stroked my arm and gently squeezed it before he looked up and watched the TV."What are you watching?" he asked and kissed my cheek.I just cleared my throat to act normal even though my heart is beating like crazy right now. I guess he has no idea how much his gestures affect my system... "Um, I don't know. It's a cartoon, I think," I just said and tried to focus on the TV."Hmm... Don't watch that anymore. Let's just cuddle," he mumb

Um..." I bit my lower lip and traced my fingers on his hard chest.I discreetly looked at the wall clock. It's already 1 a.m... but I want a corn soup."Luca... I want a corn soup," I mumbled and looked at him.Luca looked at me with disbelief. "Y-You want corn soup? Right now?"I bit my lower lip and nodded. "Please, Luca... I really, really want it."Luca sighed and got up. I immediately got up too and followed him when he went out of our room. Luca went straight to the kitchen. I followed him there and sat at the table. Luca was obviously still sleepy, but I saw him gently slap his cheeks and start getting the ingredients.I can't help but smile while watching him. I don't know if I already have a place in his heart, but I'm so happy that he couldn't say no to me. It may sound corny, but I can feel the sincerity in his actions. I don't feel any pretense in his movements."Here it is," he said after a long time of cooking. He even watched YouTube to learn how to do it."Yay." I exci

"I told you not to get pregnant... but here you are now. You're really crazy," Ivana whispered after fixing my hair. I'm at her unit now. We chatted almost all day, and when night came, she styled me.I looked at her and held her hand. "I'm sorry, Ivana... I didn't expect this either. But I really want to take care of my baby... I love him or her already," I said and smiled at her. I touched my belly and caressed it.Ivana just rolled her eyes and sighed. "Knowing you, of course you'll do that... I'm just worried, Crescent. I still don't know the father. I haven't judged him yet, and you're so quick to trust... Should I just come with you? I won't be at ease," Ivana said worriedly and held my hand.I just smiled at her and shook my head. "Don't worry about me, Ivana. Luca is a trustworthy man. He just looks bad, but once you get to know him, he's not like that at all," I said, smiling.Ivana sighed while staring at me. "You seem foolishly in love with that man, Crescent... I just real

Two days have passed, but for me, it feels like a year has gone by... Time runs slowly when you're grieving, when you're suffering, when you're having a hard time... It feels like time enjoys seeing me suffer like hell."Crescent, are you sure you're okay now?" Aiden asked, worried."I'll take care of her, Aiden. Staying here would only make things worse for her," Ivana answered for me.The two of them talked more, but I didn't understand any of it. I just held my stomach, still hoping that my baby would come back to me, even though it's impossible."C-Crescent."Ivana and I were stunned when Luca appeared in front of us as we were leaving the room. He clearly hadn't had any rest or sleep. He also stayed here for two days, but I don't care. I just pushed him away every time he tried to talk to me... He looks pitiful, but I feel nothing. He deserves it... It's not even enough for what happened to my child.I just pulled Ivana away from him. Ivana and I quickly left the hospital; we fel

"Of course you're more than enough, Mommy. But I just want to meet my Daddy. I want to know if he's cool, what he looks like, and I want to hug him," she mumbled and hugged me. I felt her breathing get heavier until she finally fell asleep on my chest.I looked at Ivana. She just sighed and shrugged. I just caressed my daughter's hair and kissed the top of her head. I couldn't blame her; there are probably times when she feels jealous of her classmates who have a dad. Every time I go to their school for programs, I see her looking at them... I'm sad that I couldn't give her the complete family she wants, but there's nothing I can do about it.I want to give my daughter everything she needs because it's my duty as her parent. Ivana also told me why I don't just find a boyfriend who can also be a dad to Vanna, but I don't need that. I can be a dad to Vanna. I also don't want to find a boyfriend just so Vanna can have a dad. I'm not that cruel."Vanna, you promised me that you'll be a go
