All Chapters of The Alpha’s Mysterious Luna : Chapter 181 - Chapter 190

~Lindsey~ I feel the tension between Jagger and Hunter. It’s so thick you could cut it with a knife. I look between the two, realizing that Hunter is pushing Jagger to be with me, which honestly doesn’t surprise me. He would get his wish: me back in White Fang. “How odd. Especially since mates are so highly regarded. Surely your advisor,” I look at Hunter, “must know the importance of the mate bond. To break it is to break oneness with your wolf.” I state clearly as Hunter’s gaze turn icy. Brady looks stunned only for a second before I see a small smile grace his visage. “Surely you would agree that any she wolf would have the highest honor to be the luna of White Fang, having hailed from their yourself for so long.” Hunter tilts his head, challenging me. I know he’s waiting for me to take the bait. If I agree, he’ll ask why I don’t become the luna, and if I disagree, he will feign offense and make some ridiculous demand to push me in that direction. I have no intention on fal

~ Brady~ I see Lindsey and Logan walking down the hallway towards science class. She’s a bit bouncier than normal today. She meets me at the door grabbing my hand and giving me a quick kiss on the cheek as we head into the classroom together. She smiles up at me. “How has your day been?” “Better now,” I grin as I look at her. We’re not ten minutes into class before I get a mind link from Principal Jefferson. “Your father is asking that you give Alpha Jagger and Beta Hunter a tour of the facilities.” I sigh, privately mind linking Colton and Grant. “How many times does Jagger need to see a school?” “I doubt it’s Jagger.” I can sense the irritation and disgust in Colton’s tone. We’re all aware of his plot to reunite Jagger and Lindsey though frankly we all have been through this before. There’s no chance she leaves with him. “I’m on luna duty. Later chumps.” Grant smirks as he mind links us back. I roll my eyes. Sadly Principal Jefferson has already informed Mrs

~Lindsey~ Dad and I finally got to go home after weeks of living in the packhouse. The peacefulness of living in a house that you have to yourself instead of the hustle and bustle of the packhouse is refreshing. I got approval to miss dinner tonight so that Dad and I could have some time alone. I’m stirring the alfredo sauce so that it stays smooth while making sure the pasta doesn’t boil over. Dad is out back grilling the chicken. We sit down to eat which feels bizarre after having so many public meals. Something about this feels private, personal. Like it’s a moment that was crafted just for us. We chat about our day, all the craziness that has happened recently, and the spring pack party that I helped plan. I’m really enjoying feeling like things are going to normal when I see the blood drain from Dad’s face. “What’s wrong?” I reach out and touch Dad’s hand, concerned. I’m sure he’s just gotten a mind link. “I need you to come with me quickly. But you need to be prepared. It

~Lindsey~“That’s a wrap. Good job today everyone!” I crash onto the floor, gasping for air. “Holy shit my legs feel like they’re on fire.” I pant. “Yeah I have no clue how I’m going to get up. How did everyone from morning training survive?” Callie dramatically sprawls herself onto the floor like a starfish beside me. “Oh come on you two. It wasn’t that bad.” Callie and I both shoot Deanna looks of annoyance. Curse her for being in such good shape. “Ok it was rough, but that just means we’re better prepared! I hear shifters are getting a double dose today. We’re practicing in human form this afternoon.” She tilts her head as Callie lets out a groan. “You’re probably sore from other reasons, too. Huh Callie?” I nudge her playfully. “Oh my gosh. Shut up Lindsey. You’re so embarrassing.” She sits up and covers her face in shame. “Girl you smell exactly like Trey. There’s no denying it. You sleep over or something?” Deanna winks. “No. He’s finishing up some changes on our home.

~Lindsey~ “Hmmm. What about this one? She hails from Dark Paw. That’s where Luna Maci and her sister Darla were from.” I point to a lively looking she wolf. Kiera Mavis: age 19, blue eyes, red hair, likes hunting. “I don’t know. She looks a little crazy.” Jagger focuses on her face, a worrisome look on his brow. “This feels insane. Like I’m going back to the olden days with mail order brides.” He collapses in a chair and buries his face in his hands. I want to walk over and encourage him, but I’ve been told no physical contact. Nothing that can be taken the wrong way. I sigh, hugging myself instead. “I know. It’s hard, but you and your pack need a luna. Remember, we’re just weeding out the candidates that you aren’t interested in.” “Make that all of them.” He mutters, looking down at the plethora of applications in front of him. So many she wolves wanting to be a luna. “Oh don’t be like that.” I sit beside him but keep a safe distance away. “Let’s keep looking. Give me your
