His Outcast Mate (Book 4: The 'His' Series のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 1 - チャプター 10

Thalia POV“FUCK, PAPI!” I cried out, collapsing on Aiden. We are both breathing heavy, and he has a huge smile on his face. He kisses the top of my head. “We are definitely doing that again. You were sexy as fuck, Mojito.”My body is still humming as I snuggle up to Aiden. “I’m glad I’m on birth control for now. Four pups, two that shift and two that float. I just want to enjoy my mate for a while and raise the four we have now. At least until this war passes.”“We have thirteen months. I have no idea what Julian is up to, but we are doing everything we can to be prepared.”“It helps that we were able to bring down the councilman who helped Heath. Sinclair found him quickly.”“Yeah, it cut off another lifeline for Julian. So we know he doesn’t have a tool being built.”“At least not by Heath,” I said.My phone rings beside me, and I move to answer it. “Hello?”“Tally!” Kaia said happily. “We made progress today. We need to tweak the configurations a little more, but then we are going

Sinclair POVI feel the tears slipping down my cheeks again. I hate this. I’ve never held these kinds of feelings with any importance before, and now I can’t shake them. I can’t escape it. I feel trapped by it.Mali feels the emptiness in my chest. She knows I’ve always been discarded. In the last four years, I have had a steady friendship with Kaia and Thalia. I wonder if it’s because I bring a skill set they need. If that skill set is left, would they still care about me?I know Aric cares at least. I am not his priority, though. Poppy is his mate. He naturally would make her his priority. I would never try to insert myself into his family. I’m an extension of his family, but I can never become his priority. When I reached the Blackstone border, the guards smiled and happily waved me through. That’s one thing I can say; I have garnered the respect of both packs. They look to me for strategy. They look to me for everything technical. If there is a problem with the mainframe, they hav

Sinclair POV He left. Of course, he left. Why would he want to be mated to me? Why would anyone want to be mated to me? I laughed at myself bitterly. I just wanted to enjoy myself tonight. Apparently, the universe thinks I’m undeserving of a mate or just a relaxing night. Everyone is looking at me and whispering to each other. It feels like my high school days all over again. Being humiliated in front of everyone, then hearing everyone around me quietly mock me. I need to get out of here. I need air. I turned and walked out the double doors to the outside patio. I down my drink in one gulp and set the glass down. I sit down at one of the patio tables and take a deep breath. Mali is quiet in my mind. She is hurt that our mate rejected us. She said Thor wanted us. It doesn’t matter, though. If the man doesn’t want us, there isn’t much the wolf can do. ‘Mali, if you want to leave me too, I totally understand. You don’t have to stay and live this kind of loneliness.’ ‘I’m not leavin

Adrian POVAiden told me that Sinclair was back. I was in the middle of training warriors. I stopped and made my way to the pack house, but I stood back. I looked at her from afar. It’s not like I haven’t observed her from afar in the past. I always liked teasing her about shifting and going for runs. When I think back, I’ve always gotten along with Sinclair. But mates? That’s a different territory altogether. I know I need to apologize to her. I need to talk to her. Maybe we can take the mate bond slow. Maybe she will be okay with starting as friends.I’m just not ready to mark another woman. I’m not ready to be mated again. I just need time. I don’t want to hurt her, but I’ve been getting an earful from everyone. Thalia doesn’t even want to look at me. Aiden has been short with me. Dad is only so understanding. Mom is the worst one, though. She flat-out smacked me in the back of the head and yelled at me for being a crude jackass.‘You are a jackass. She is our mate, and you walked o
