Lahat ng Kabanata ng His Little Hybrid Pet: Kabanata 1 - Kabanata 10

The woods were bursting with wolves of all shapes and colors when I finally arrived at the home of the Alpha. Autumn leaves coated the ground matching the red color of patches of my own calico fur. The air smelled so cool and crisp that a wolf could almost imagine that she could find a fresh start in this place. And what a beautiful place it was. The main building othe alpha's home was a wonderous wooden mansion that looked as though it was made from logs and blended in with the natural colors of the forest as though it was part of nature itself. Many other smaller buildings were scattered around the estate. I imagined that is where most of his guests would stay along with buildings for his employees and probably a couple just for storage. The Alpha must prefer the outdoors to his extravegant mansion anyway because his gardens were elaborate and provided plenty of room for wolves to train or relax and even a large pavilion for eating and events. A stone wall; however, bared my entry a

"I thought I might see you here, Elma" my cousin Oakly said sweetly as she could manage giving my hair a scornful glance."I couldn't turn down such a generous royal invitation." I replied politely."But you aren't actually trying to win are you?" and she gave me a look of pity. Compared to my cousin I looked as though I might be a humble servant. Oakly was clearly trying to dress for the job she wanted to get and her off the shoulder floor length gown shown gold from head to foot. Her father happened to be a skilled jeweler and the fruits of his labors adorned her from the gold chains around her ankle to the elaborate topaz headpiece. I wore a more simple emerald green gown that I thought would be appropriate for dinner outdoors. I didn't want to accidently lead with my best outfit and look worse on every future sighting. "I bet you are aren't you," she continued, "To try to save the treacherous family of yours from getting what they deserve.""My apologies, cousin. You must be worr

----A Letter my Mother Gave me for my Journey----My Only Daughter,I know you are reluctant, but I am positive deep in my heart that you are destined to be the next Luna and that the spirits of the moon are with you and will favor you. All that aside here are is some advice from your mother that I want you to remember while you are facing challenges.A Luna is always polite.A Luna will practice humility.A Luna has unlimited patience.A Luna will never give up.A Luna is unfalteringly loyal. And A Luna will do whatever it takes.I am sure you will heed my words and hold them close to your heart as you did every day when I was with you. You are on your own now, but don't forget that your family is all depending on you and without your success will likely perish. Prove that I have raised you right. Be good and return when you are Luna. Always,Your Mother.-------------I folded her letter and slipped it into my pocket. I wore simple black pants that hugged my figure and a modest blo

The next two days passed in a blur as the she-wolves recovered from the first challenge. Notably we were down a few in number who hadn't fared well in the birthday party challenge and even one wolf who found her fated mate in a palace servant and they had reportedly ran away together. Good for them. I spent my days practicing, training, and trying to learn everything I could about pack politics and the Alpha I sought to impress. He had a charming personality and when he wasn't talking and checking in with all of people living on his grounds he liked song and dance. He kept his mother close along with the strange gentleman I had smashed into at the first challenge. I hoped I wouldn't have to spend much time with that unsavory character if I won the title of Luna. I had almost forgotten about the Alpha's previous promise until one day when I discovered a package laying on my bedspread. "Did you put this here?" I asked Dandilion. My roommate had been particularly dreamy and lost in her

Another grandparent type wolf stood at the door, her blank eyes a ghostly white. I stood up quickly, but the wolf across from me looked a little disappointed at the interruption. "We are ready for you now," she croaked."Thankyou ma'am," I said and left the room without another glance at the Alpha's treacherous second cousin. I followed my blind guide a couple more yards down the hall until we entered a slightly bigger office with a table in it not unlike a conference room. How the blind wolf knew this was the right place was beyond my understanding. The blind wolf and I took our seats at the table where three other old wolves sat already. These must be the all of the Alpha's grandparents. "Introduce yourself she-wolf," demanded the elder that had led Rayven inside earlier."My name is Elma," I stated shortly. Customarily a wolf would follow this with a family name or pack name, but I decided to keep mine short. A moment of silence."What did she say?" asked one of the wolves who in
