Mira's POV The beeping sound wouldn't stop. I turned slowly, relentlessly. The sound continued like a countdown. My eyelids felt heavy. I opened them slowly, the dizziness hitting harder. I raised my head, staring at the man talking beside me. He wiped the sweat off his forehead and responded quickly. “The northern route Alpha.
