THIRD PERSON’S POVThe moon stood high in the cloud, illuminating everything in its path. Valios moved silently down the hallway, his shadow gliding against the wall as he walked past. The door opened as he walked in, his gaze fell on the bundle cuddled up on his bed. Valios shut the door, only pulling away when he heard the soft click of the lock slide in place. He walked further into the room, undressing until he was left in his pants and a turtleneck. Valios slid into bed, next to Heira and her body instinctively turned around and curled up against him.
