My Mate is a Vampire のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 91 - チャプター 100

Elle’s POVI don’t know how it happened, but something kept calling me to the edge of the cliff. It was only until I got there that I realized I had no reason to be there.I was supposed to be with the king looking for ways to get the healing stones back. How did I end up on a cliff?I sighed at myself, turning to leave. But, a strange voice held me back with a whisper that I really couldn’t make out.“Hello, who is there?” I mumbled, looking back.Nothing.I was only met with an eerie silence.I swallowed, feeling a familiar sense of fear creep up on me.“How did I even get here?” I whispered towards myself, turning back towards the palace.“Raevenelle,” the strange voice whispered again, stopping me in my tracks. I whipped my head back again, now feeling my heart beat hard against my chest.“Who the hell is that? I have a weapon, and I’m not afraid to use it,” I lied.I had nothing on me and was only trying to scare them. But it was useless.“Raevenelle, Raevenelle, Raevenelle,” th

Elle’s POVI ran out of the room crying, part furious at him and part confused. I was wondering if I had the right to cry because again that was me in the video.I rushed back to the edge of the cliff I was just in, pacing back-and-forth and confusion as the hot tears streamed down my cheeks. I already had so many things to worry about, like this strange man that I saw earlier. One that the king claimed not to see.Why did such a matter come about at a time like this? And how can I even be myself out when I’m not even sure I’m entirely innocent.I sat on the edge of the cliff, dropping my head on my crouched up knee as I continued to cry.Why would he even think I would lie about something like that? If I really need to take this though, I would already be home by now, giving it to my father. Why would he believe such a thing so easily?“Hello dear,” an unfamiliar voice whispered closely into my ear. I paused for a moment, not sure if I was hearing right.Maybe it was just my imagina

King Kerman’s POVI was walking towards my garden, certain that I would find her there when I stopped halfway. With the way she cried out of the room, there was no way she would go to a place like that. Not with the memory we left behind. That left only one other place. The edge of the cliff. The same place I found her the last time. The place she turned into her personal peaceful space. As I got close enough and began hearing voices, I knew my suspicions had been confirmed. But a moment later, I realized there was something else that the voice I was hearing. It wasn’t hers. In fact, it sounded like a man’s voice. My chest tightened in a way I couldn’t explain. Was she really already talking to another man because I called her out on her deceit?I scoffed, tightening my fists beside me.Well, whoever it was, they better get ready because they are both about to regret ever crossing me.I marched forward, ready to jump a wolf down until I saw it and stopped abruptly.I wasn’t sure I was

King Kerman’s POVAs I listened to her narrating the event of that day, I knew something had gone wrong immediately. Her explanations weren’t and she seemed to be struggling to remember some parts of her day. Something she clearly hadn’t thought about before. And that was when I realized something.I may have also been very wrong in my judgment. And it surprised me because barely a few weeks earlier, something similar happened—When she came into the forest after me but didn’t have any memories of it.Back then, I quickly suspected that my mother had a hand in it because it was the only thing that made sense. In fact, I had been searching for evidence of that. So when this happened, why didn’t I have the same suspicion? She kept insisting that she did not do it but I believed she did. I believed she stole the stones even though by her story now, I just realised my mother may have had a hand in it. She probably took over her mind again and pushed her to do it without any knowledge. Tha

Elle’s POV The realization hit me hard. There may have been more about Maya than I knew and suddenly, a wave of urgency hit me. What if she was a bad person who wanted to hurt my father? “I need to get to my father. If everybody in town is just like you, my father may be in trouble.” I began rushing for the door but he quickly held me back. “Relax. If your father’s neighbour wanted to hurt him, she would’ve done it without calling you back from school, don’t you think? Why would she call you back just to have her as a witness?” I stopped immediately, thinking about his words. They made sense. She had him all to herself and if she wanted to hurt him, she could’ve done it without me ever having a chance to find out. This calmed me down momentarily but I registered it at the back of my mind to still go check up on my father much later. “Fine, let’s say I believe everything you’ve said.” “You do.” “And how do you know that?” “Because I can’t see it in your eyes
