My Mate is a Vampire のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 61 - チャプター 70

Elle’s POV “What did you just say?” I was a bit confused by their reaction but I answered anyway. “I said I was with the mother Luna before I found myself in the forest.” “You mean the last person you were with was my mother?” I nodded, slowly finding his reaction suspicious. “How did you get to her?” “Well, your…wife to be, came to apologize to me and said the mother Luna wanted to meet me officially. Of course I wondered why the sudden change in attitude as she was basically against me the last time but I didn’t think much of it. And when I finally met her, everything went well. She was super nice to me.” His jaw tightened a little. “And what happened next?” He asked with a scary urgency. “Well nothing much. She just took my hand in hers—.” “Dammit,” he cut in, pulling himself up. This alarmed me quickly. “What? What happened? Did she do something to me?” He looked at me but said nothing. I didn’t even know why that was my first line of reasoning but at that point, it wa

King Kerman’s POV“Your majesty, do you really think that the mother Luna is responsible for this?” Caius asked, clearly thinking the same thing I was.I tightened my jaw, looking into the empty space. It made sense that she was. However, it also didn’t make any sense that you would go that far. I mean, yes the girl was a solarian but the main reason she didn’t want her around was fear that I would unleash my past madness on her. In that sense, why would she go as far as manipulating the girl’s mind to follow me into the forest.Even an average wolf wouldn’t take such a risk because of the possible effect not to talk less of a solarian. It would kill her and my mother of all people knew this very well.So why would she go that far?“Look into this, with my mother’s powers, she may actually have a hand in this.”“But it makes no sense. She has no particular reason to go after the girl.”Then it suddenly dawned on me. Of course she did.She may not have wanted the girl dead for a strong

Mother Luna’s POVI looked up at the ceiling, not focusing one bit on it. The only thing I was focused on was the killer pain slowly killing me.I had let this get too far before handling it this time around.Something that never used to happen. “Who was at the door?” I managed to ask my head maid as she returned into the room. “It was Sir Caius. He just asked to have a word with you.”Hmm.“And what did you say to him?” I asked with the small strength I could gather.“I refused him entrance and told him you wouldn’t have visitors at this time.”“Good.”“Your Grace, I think he suspects something. Or rather, I think the king suspects something. He must have sent him.”Of course he does.I haven’t been out in the open since the lunar celebration. Of course they are already suspecting something. But I cannot let them know what is going on. “Whatever they are suspecting is nothing but their own imagination. However, we must do something about this before it gets bigger. Have you reac

Thalia's POVWe walked into my bedroom together and although I was a little nervous because Theron was right. The ritual wasn’t something to play with but I decided not to let fear get the best of me. It would only stop me from achieving what I needed to.All I had to do was take a little blood oath and sprinkle it on top of the mirror and everything I wanted to know would appear before me. Even the things I didn’t think I needed.Theron stayed in my main room while I walked further into the deeper part. The room that housed my long mirror.I took off my normal clothes and threw on the ritual long white satin dress I always used for situations like this. In front of the mirror was a small table. It wasn’t purposeless. It carried the red ritual knife I used.I picked it up with my right hand while holding out the left. Then I drew in a deep breath in anticipation of what what’s to come. The pain from the knife cut was nothing compared to the price I had to pay for reading into someone

Elle’s POV I opened my eyes slowly, once again trying to get used to the bright lights pinching into them. My body felt so sore and for some reason, so did my mind. As if I had been overworking the subconscious part of me. When my eyes finally got used to the light and I opened them fully, I was surprised by the person sitting beside me. Wrong. I couldn’t exactly call it sitting. He was on a chair, but his head was on the bed. Sleeping peacefully. A look I had never seen on him since I knew him. That sense of peacefulness that made one believe he didn’t have troubles he was dealing with. But I knew he did. I saw him most nights, always making up plans for the betterment of his people. I saw all of it, even though I tried as much as possible to mind my business. I reached forward, almost about to brush his hair gently when another thought bumped into my mind. The day in the forest. The scene was ingrained in my mind in such a way that I was sure I would never for
