**Lara's pov**The next morning, the heavy rain finally stopped, leaving behind a cold, thick fog that rolled steadily through every crack and gap in the hold.My fever had lowered slightly, but my body felt heavy, bruised, and sore from spending another night on the bare, damp wood.
