Chapter 41. Blood on ice

Leon melted into it, holding him tighter as their kisses deepened. When they pulled apart for air, Noa’s hand went down swiftly into Leon’s pants and grabbed his dick unexpectedly. “Oh fuck,” Leon gasped and his eyes widened in surprise as Noa held on. Noa smirked, “Why surprise? Don't you want me to do this?” He asked, stroking his dick gently. Leon swallowed, “I…I…” he stammered. “You what cutie, hmm?” he asked as he captured his lips in another kiss, while still stroking him. He pulled back and winced, “Damn it, I've always wanted you Leon. Right now, I want you more than anything. I so want to fuck you.” Unexpectedly, he held Leon’s hand and pulled him towards the bed. Then pushed him down into it. Leon fell into the bed, but came up in a sitting position. Eyes wide in surprise. “You want me too, right?” He asked without waiting for an answer as he climbed on top, straddling him. He pulled up his singlet and Leon lifted his hands to let it off him. Noa

Chapter 42. They noticed

Noa immediately turned away. "I care about having a complete team." "Sure about that?" “You have no business in my concern, so beat it.” Noa replied , trying to keep his voice casual. “Sure, provided your concern wasn't anything personal. I'm sure you understand what I mean by that. Stick to your hockey rules and you won't have any problem. Leon is mine, don't forget that.” The sarcasm was impossible to miss, but before Noa could reply, he was gone. “Gaddamn it, he is suspecting me?” Noa’s heart pounded as that whisper escaped him. At that minute, the medical room door opened and Leon stepped out. A bandage wrapped tightly around his leg. The bleeding had stopped.Relief hit Noa so hard it nearly weakened his knees. Leon noticed, and smiled. That stupid smile that always made Noa’s chest feel strange. "Miss me already?" Noa immediately rolled his eyes. "There goes my sympathy." "Good. I was worried." Noa said. "About what?" Leon stepped close

Chapter 43. Drunken confession

The bitterness in his voice surprised both of them and Leon himself. Sebastian went quiet as his thoughts ran. That sounded less like uncertainty. And more like defeat. It seemed as if Leon had already convinced himself rejection was inevitable. As if he had already lost a battle that had never been fought. Due to that realization, Sebastian felt genuinely concerned, because Leon wasn't built for vulnerability.People like him either loved completely...Or not at all. There was rarely a middle ground. And if that love wasn't returned, the consequences could be ugly. "You're in trouble, Leon" Sebastian said softly. Leon frowned. "What does that mean?" "It means someone has captured your attention, your thoughts, and apparently your emotional stability." "You're imagining things." "No." Sebastian smiled sadly. "I'm really not." The rink fell silent. Only the distant hum of machinery echoed through the arena. Leon stared at the ice. Sebastian stared at him

Chapter 44. Honest truth

Unfortunately, it was past 2 AM and very late to start heading over to Noa’s. He might be drunk but he knew he was being very honest. He was glad to hear he wasn't alone in this fearful feeling, but somehow it hurts because they can't come out freely. If they do, it's kissing their promising hockey careers good bye. Noa stayed quiet for a while and continued. "I don't understand him." He whispered. "I don't understand why he matters." Leon felt tears threatening his eyes, because he understood perfectly. Noa had fallen terribly hard. And he didn't even realize it. Noa suddenly laughed again.A tired, broken laugh. "Maybe I'm losing my mind." "No, you're not." Leon's voice trembled. Noa shifted against the bed. His eyelids grew heavy. "Diamond?" "Yes?" "Can I tell you something crazy..." Leon’s heart pounded. "What?" Noa hesitated for the first time all night. Then quietly said, "I think Leon is the first person who's ever made me feel scared."

Chapter 45. Let's practice

Noa stood inside the stall, barely breathing, until the restroom door finally clicked shut. The silence that followed felt louder than the kiss itself. He pressed both palms against the cold partition and squeezed his eyes shut. "Fuck." The curse slipped out in a whisper. His hand robbed on his dick as it throbbed beneath his pants. His lips still tingled. His heart was still racing. Every nerve in his body seemed determined to replay the last few minutes on an endless loop.Leon had kissed him, again, and the worst part? He had kissed him back. He dragged a shaky hand through his hair and let his forehead rest against the metal wall. Oh, fuck, Noa. His own thoughts were merciless as they ran in his mind. Damn it, Leon isn't making this any easier. The image of Leon's face flashed through his mind…the determination in his eyes, the way he'd grabbed his wrist, the desperation behind that kiss. Noa groaned softly. "You need to talk to him." The voice in

Chapter 46. Cracked desires

“You like that, don't you?” He released him and roamed his body, with his hands caressing him up to chest. His fingers stopped at his nipples teasing him while his dick kept poking his ass. Noa tilted his head back, his eyes fluttering close as Leon whispered to his ear. “Tell me you want me because I so fucking want to fuck you. I want to bury my dick inside you.” Noa’s eyes opened immediately. He turned to look at him because he was hoping he would be the top. “Leon, I'm top, so you can't…” He started to talk but Leon didn't let him finish as he shut his mouth with kisses. Noa didn't resist. He leaned into it, unleashing all the hunger within him. His hands caressing Leon’s back. When they pulled back for air. Their breathing was uneven as their heart raced. Their eyes locked for seconds before Leon leaned in with another kiss, his fingers teasing his nipples. When he pulled back he grabbed his nipple with his mouth. “Oh Leon…” Noa gasped as Leon’s name es

Chapter 47. Rink conflict

In the next thirty minutes, they were in for practice. They hadn't gone five minutes inside the rink when Coach cursed for the third time. “What the heck is wrong today?” The blast of the whistle echoed through the rink. "Again!" The coach roared. The team sprang into motion, skates carving across the ice as the puck flew from stick to stick. "Transition drill! Keep it moving!" Noa pushed off hard, collecting the puck along the boards. His head was up, eyes scanning the ice. Leon was completely open for the puck. "Here!" Leon shouted, tapping his stick. Noa didn't even look his way, instead, he fired a crisp pass across the ice to Nath. Nath barely caught it before redirecting it down the line. Leon slowed. Maybe Noa hadn't seen him. The whistle blew again. "Reset!" Another rush. This time Leon deliberately positioned himself in the center lane, exactly where the drill required the puck to go. "Noa!" The call echoed across the rink. Noa s

Chapter 48. The truth

It was indeed Max, he muttered “Talking about the devil.” He watched as other teammates gathered around, greeting him and asking how he was getting on. Leon smiled faintly, skated over and hugged him. “I didn't know you're coming to visit.” “Surprise,” Max said teasingly. Max returned the teammates greetings, though his smile looked forced. He hadn't expected to see Noa. Noa hadn't expected to see him either. He stared from the center of ice looking at Max. As their eyes locked, the warmth drained from Noa's face. His stick tightened in his grip, and Leon noticed it. Before anyone could react, Noa pushed off. His skates sliced across the ice with purpose. He headed straight toward Max. Every conversation in the rink died because they knew something was off. "Noa?" Nath called, but Noa ignored him. He stopped inches in front of Max. "So..." His voice carried across the silent arena. "You finally decided to show your face." Max swallowed. “Hey Cap

Chapter 49. Hard game

His voice trembled. "Do you know what I called him? Do you know how many times I shoved him? How many times I have humiliated him in front of everyone?" He covered his face with both hands. "And the worst part..." His voice broke completely. "He still tried to cooperate and do things with me." Leon’s emotion rose as he recalled their private moments, the stolen kisses, their free smiles. “Damn it, your lies made me lose his trust. How do I fucking make up, hmm.” Max frowned at his brother's reaction. Leon slowly lowered his hands. "When everyone else saw a nice captain, I saw an enemy that needed to suffer. I...I…" He stopped, unable to finish. The memory of Noa flashed through his mind. Starting from the rivalry to late-night conversations. The concern hidden beneath their arguments. The kisses, and the romances. His chest tightened. "I don't even know where to begin making this right." Max walked closer. "We'll figure it out together." Leon shook his he

Chapter 50. No choice

The final whistle echoed through the rink. "That's it for today!" Coach Finn called out. "Good work. Everybody to center ice." The players skated in, breathing hard after nearly two hours of practice. Some leaned on their sticks while others pulled off their helmets, grateful for the break. Coach Finn stood before them with his arms folded. His expression was serious. The chatter gradually died down. "I've got an important announcement." Every player straightened instinctively. "There has been a change of plans." He paused. "We will not be leaving for Mountain Bay tomorrow morning." "What?" A wave of whispers spread through the team. "No way..." "I already packed for tomorrow." "Did the match get canceled?" Coach Finn raised a hand, silencing the murmurs. "I know this is short notice, and I'm sorry about the late information." He looked around at every face."But if you intend to become professional athletes someday, you'd better get used to adaptin
